I always get nervous when moving. There are so many things to remember and I want to make sure I'm making the right decisions for myself and my kids and for a fare price. I was so impressed and made to feel completely at ease with Barnard Marcus. The Manager, Nick was completely up front and honest with me, kept up a stream of consistent communication and made sure I had all the information I needed. Because of this, the whole process went quickly and smoothly and it gave me the peace of mind I needed at an already stressful time. I'd definitely only go through Barnard Marcus now and a special mention to Nick for his knowledge, professionalism and general kindness. 5 stars.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

It was my first time dealing with Barnard Marcus agency in Surbiton. Tom, Ben and their team did an excellent job in securing a buyer for my property within a week. However, the buyer pulled out after few weeks but I was assured by Tom/Ben that they will find me another buyer soon! They did indeed and it only took them 3 weeks to find a new buyer with whom we completed 3 weeks later! I highly recommend them and hope to do more business in future.

I recently used Barnard Marcus for the sale of my old property and were also the selling agents for the new property I bought, and my experience with them was so much better then with another agent I used in Surbiton during my previous property sale years ago. The sales team managed to find a buyer for me just three weeks after my flat was put on the market. Communications for both the sale and my new property purchase were great. The team at Barnard Marcus worked tirelessly to secure a sale for my flat in a very difficult market, and (despite very challenging circumstances with solicitors) persevered daily to get the sale through to exchange. This has taken over 12 months, due to sales falling through for numerous reasons. I had previously had the property on the market with other agents who gave up, and told me to wait until the market had improved, but the team at Surbiton BM believed it could be sold and made that happen - thank you so much !!

No stars at all for the awful experience I've had. Barely got a chance to view the place as one of its agents failed on 2 occasions to book me a viewing! Found a decent flat of rightmove and requested for a viewing. The agent had contacted via phone call and despite me working that day I still accepted to view the flat after my shift. On my way to place I felt the need to call to confirm my attendance only to be told the viewing was cancelled due to flat being sold to another tenant. I was apparently sent a text (I'm sorry but a text message?! Not a phone call as I was contacted initially) not to mention the agent texted the wrong number.. I was upset because I to rush from work and through rush hour traffic 🙃 The next day I get an email from the same agent informing the same flat was back on market and had arranged for another viewing the following day for 10.40 I agreed. Still decided to give them a ring and thankfully I did because the same agent has ONCE AGAIN failed to communicate with me that the same flat was sold to another tenant! An absolute joke! What made me even more upset is that she tried to deny the very emails/viewings she sent me. Very unprofessional, no sense of accountability. Barely had the chance to view anything and I already experienced a terrible outcome. If this is how you treat your new or potential customers wonder how the previous ones feel? Do review your basic level of customer service and communication... it will go a long way. Truly it's not that hard.
