Following the lost of my wife's aunt to Covid 19 we were looking to find an Estate agent to help with the sale of her house. Not knowing the area we carried out a search only to find Russen and Turner who were positive, active and most helpful. Also, during the long probate process they were professional and caring keeping both the seller and buyers briefed on progress which was tricky. We recently bought I very first home. We were looking for a while and dealt with various estate agents. I won’t name them but from the beginning they managed to remove the shine and excitement even to the point we were ready to throw in the towel in and carry on renting!! Then we found the perfect house and luckily it was being sold by Russen & Turner from the first call we made they were and have been so professional and polite every person we dealt with. They kept us updated with progress and were quick dealing with any enquiries we had. They put the shine and excitement back in for us. Two factors made the sale of my father-in law's property tricky: 1) We live nearly 90 miles away from the bungalow 2) Covid. We could not attend the majority of viewings so R&T shouldered most of the responsibility. Once the pandemic and ensuing mobility restrictions were imposed it became more difficult to travel and maintain the property. The financial implications of "lock down" also saw us lose two potential purchasers. Once the sale gained momentum R&T visited solicitors on our behalf to collect and deliver documents. They communicated regularly by telephone and email, every step of the way. Better late than never.. A year ago today we picked up the keys to our new home! It was all thanks to the team at Russen and Turner that we finally got the keys but especially that of Rob! If it wasn't for him, the purchase may not have gone ahead. Our solicitor was absolutely useless and made things so difficult for us and this is where Rob stepped in and made the transaction easier by acting as the mediator between ourselves, the seller and their solicitor!
