Winsford Branch - Fabulous Team

I recently had my house valued as we are hopefully purchasing a property via private purchase which is proving to be quite testing. We had valuations done from various local agents including Butters John Bee. Amit from the Winsford Cheshire Branch has given valuable advice on the property we are looking to purchase and a true valuation on our property that we would be marketing through them. I have raised some questions re some concerns about our purchase property and he has talked things through with me and advised how to find the answers through various other channels ie council, surveyor etc. At no time have we felt any pressure to market our house (it’s going to be a slow process) and he has assured us he and the team will be with us every step of the way to get us in our dream property for which we have faith in the BJB team to help us achieve our goal, this is purely from how Amit presented himself in a highly professional manner whilst in our property during covid restrictions, putting us at ease. Amit has assured us that the minute we are ready to give the “go ahead” they will set the wheels in motion to achieve a sale. Well done to Amit & Team for giving us the confidence to choose your branch.

Patient, honest and understanding.

Just had a long and detailed (and honest) conversation with BJB's representative about my house which is currently on the market. As well as the state of the market, some time was spent discussing my situation and various options. This was reassuring and helped, in particular with the current circumstances. She showed patience and understanding. I am well aware of the problems that I face but feel that I am certainly getting the service I was promised. I would be happy to recommend BJB to others in my position.

The worst agent to deal with! Fraudulent

The worst agent to deal with! They are fraudulent and deceptive. I paid holding deposit but was refused access to the property for more than 2 months. They kept on postponing move in dates. Only for them to put the same property back into the market and still write available now.

I've heard about Butters John Bee taking advantage of a local womans charity to the tune of £5000! Theyre supposed to be a local company and theyre pulling stuff like this. genuinely shameful. I will never use them in my life knowing how they treat vulnerable people in our communities.

Great people to deal with!

Great company to deal with - as contractors we have a good relationship with the guys there...we regularly correspond with Ben Parry, the Property Manager at one of the local branches, with regard to arranging engineer visits to inspect & repair kitchen appliances, or supply new...He is very efficient and gets things resolved, liaising with ourselves and the landlords so as to get maintenance issues sorted quickly - which makes our job easier, and goes down well with the tenants, of course. We can highly recommend BJB!

Unprofessional who over promise and under deliver

I wouldn’t recommend them to sell your property! They give Estate Agents a bad reputation. They made lots of promises to get our business, and justify their higher commission, then didn’t deliver. They had very very poor communication, they never measured the property for the floor plan. When we gave notice, an offer materialised from nowhere, which coincidentally fell through as soon it was followed up and the validity of the buyers position turned out to be contradicted. They have wasted 5 months of our time and cost us money.

A very stressful and disappointing experience

Interestingly, there are no reviews for the Sandbach branch. I would personally give them a miss - there are far better, more personable and respectful agents in Sandbach. Having decided against them for the sale of my own property, I was unfortunate enough to be caught up with them in the chain and sadly found them to be unprofessional throughout. I could initially empathise with staff, the majority were furloughed and a small number, working long hours and stretched to breaking point, were expected to run several branches. Things did not improve, however, on the gradual return of employees from furlough. Instead, they seemed to take a downward spiral as the emphasis appeared to shift to bringing other properties to market rather than paying attention to the service for those already onboard. A very stressful and disappointing experience.

I don't leave many reviews as a rule, but for the level of service I have just had the pleasure to encounter, I really must comment publicly.Last weekend, there was an act of vandalism on one of my properties, where two windows were smashed. Obviously, to secure the property and the tenants within, this needed fixing and fast.No sooner had I contacted Danielle Thompson at BJB Maintenance than she was straight back to me to say that the matter was in hand, a contractor had been appointed, the windows would be boarded within the next hour, the windows measured, and replaced asap.To say Danielle's response to the problem was rapid is an understatement! She sorted it all straight away! She talked me through the process and sent me a confirmation email almost instantaneously. She liaised with the tenant on my behalf, and was polite, courteous and professional throughout the whole process.Thank you so much, Danielle!

Find a tenant service at Winsford BJB

We approached the Winsford branch to let out a rental property. Jenna could not have been more helpful - she has a clear understanding and extensive knowledge of what the products BJB have on offer and is very helpful. Everything we asked of her was completed and she kept us up to date with our tenancy application from our point of view and our tenants. I would recommend using BJB for the find a tenant service and especially ask for Jenna for excellent customer service!

I have rented off Butters John Bee for nearly 12 months. The service I have received from start to finish has been nothing but exceptional. I don’t normally write reviews but as I always receive amazing service, I wanted to give some recognition.I’m a tenant of Butters John Bee, whenever I’ve had an issue, I always speak to Stacey, who has always efficiently dealt with things, she’s always had great communication with keeping me in the loop with what’s going on with a couple maintenance issues, and matters are always dealt with quickly. Stacey always makes me feel like nothing is too much trouble.I’ve been a tenant with a few estate agents but non of them compare to my experience with BJB.Highly recommend

Appalling service

I am not all impressed with the experience we are getting from BJB Alsager - I have rang through to the office asking to speak to the sales manager to be told he was in a meeting, it later came to my attention he was actually at his daughters all day - this isn't my issue, the issue is I was lied to! none the less I was told he would be put as a high priority and I would be contacted back today....9-days later I'm not holding my breath.The property listing is lazy and quite frankly unprofessional! I would not recommend I'm afraid. I have now escalated this to their customer relations department as they have failed to get back in touch with me.

Hi there :)So I asked for information on the property late April, and a lady called Abigail got to back me within 10 minutes.From there we had a deeper look, and fell in love with the property. We had many questions to ask (if I'm honest I probably sent her more than ordinary people would!) but Abigail, was very professional, polite, and answered everything immediately.My partner has lived in many properties in England, and has said this has been the best experience she's had whilst moving.
