Disgusting company! Nothing but a bunch of lazy unscrupulous animals who just con people rip people off and threaten with pathetic warnings! They fail miserably to carry out repairs to properties they rent out for home owners!stay away from these idiotic bunch of cowboys! They are liars thieves and scumbags

My initial experience as a landlord with Butters wasn't great and I genuinely preferred the company pre-spicer haart take over - I am now more than ever convinced that the central support systems do not help the front line staff no matter how nice or helpful said staff try to be.I have had incorrect 'fees' taken from my rent - after significant to-ing and fro-ing the branch manager accepted I was right, never explained how the issue had come about and promised a refund [clearly and in writing]...Which despite significant prompting and a formal complaint still is yet to materialise.Oh - and be aware, it doesn't matter what damage your tenant does to your property [pull off a perfectly secure handrail for example] - as the landlord you will have to pay, tenants are literally never held accountable for how they treat the property; I know this is because the DPS swung the pendulum from landlords who used to rince deposits but it has swung too far to the tenants now who just treat a property and their landlord with total contempt and the Agents do not care either way.Charles

The property letting service is so efficient from walking into the Winsford office speaking to Jenna my property was marketed overnight and 3 potential tenants found. They are moving in all agreed within a month. The legal and paper work all booked and taken care of and we are kept informed by telephone and emails.5 star service to trust.

For a local letting agency (BJB Newcastle under Lyme)to take money off a local charity for a property that was not fit for purpose, no boiler, basic safety features and in an advanced state of repair shows blatant disregard. At the very least the charity should have its money returned and the letting contract cancelled.
Dear Lorraine, Thank you for your feedback, which we believe to be in response to a recent social media post. For clarity, we would like to highlight that this is connected to the letting of a commercial retail premises, rather than a domestic dwelling; our Newcastle under Lyme branch are in no way connected to this transaction. We regret that the tenant doesn’t feel the property is fit for purpose. We are working with the tenant and the landlord to come to a solution but as the contract is signed the decision rests with the landlord. Unfortunately, due to Government imposed restrictions, we were unable to offer an in-person viewing and sent the tenant a short video of the property which was recorded prior to lockdown. The tenant ultimately made the decision to sign the lease, having had the time and opportunity to have this reviewed, and paid the rent for the first year in its entirety in advance; this was not a requisite of the letting but rather a decision made by the tenant. It's an unfortunate situation and we’ll continue to work with both sides in an attempt to come to a satisfactory outcome.bjb Commercial team.

We were impressed with the professional service of BJB right from the initial meeting. The photos were great and the sales particulars excellent quality. A buyer was found quickly and when they unfortunately pulled out, another one was found within 3 days. We were kept updated weekly throughout the selling process. We would definitely use them again.

Great service from the staff at the winsford branch, however do not take up their offer of solicitors as they are totally incompetent. They obviously work on commission from these solicitors and unfortunately John bees haven’t vetted them makings the experience less than satisfactory.
