GoogleThere is no one better at selling houses. Our house had been on the market for 3 years and we never thought it would sell. Graeme and the team were relentless in their support to help us navigate the whole system. I cannot recommend the Kidlington team enough. They truly went above and beyond.

GoogleI am delighted with the service provided by Graeme, Lisa and Julian at Thomas Merrifield. They valued the property realistically and showed a good knowledge of the market. There were several viewings within days of the property being put on the market resulting in a number of offers and an agreed sale at the asking price. They kept me fully informed at all times and always responded to queries and messages extremely quickly. They also recommended a very good solicitor. An excellent service all round - thank you!

GoogleA quite outstanding experience from start to finish. I was selling a house as part of the execution of a will while living some distance away, but Graeme and his team ensured that the whole process went very smoothly. At my initial meeting with Graeme, he clearly demonstrated his knowledge and experience of the local property market and at no point during what was quite a difficult and protracted sale process did I ever doubt that I had chosen the best agent to handle the property sale. Graeme and Lisa handled the viewings superbly and once a buyer was found, they were very attentive in ensuring a rather slow chain of transactions proceeded to a successful exchange. On several occasions Graeme went far beyond what could be reasonably expected to help me with various issues that arose relating to the property. I am very grateful to all the staff at Thomas Merrifield Kidlington and would have no hesitation in recommending this agent.

We mainly delt with Graeme Pierce who's knowledge and experience in selling and buying property was fantastic, he made the whole experience less stressful and always kept us up to date with any developments with our sale and purchase. We were blown away with how many viewings we had booked in on our property within a few days of us going on the market! Clint, Lisa, Julian and Jo were also great when showing us around potential properties and taking our phone calls, everyone in the team were so kind and patient with us.

From the first meeting Graeme was the consummate professional. Graeme's understanding of the property market enabled him to present his valuation supported by a portfolio of sold and unsold properties. Graeme was totally honest with buyers and myself when offers were received. Then when the sale appeared to be faltering Graeme stepped in and managed all parties to a successful completion. GoogleSelling a property in the UK can be a nightmare, but doing it whilst living in Australia is twice as difficult... Without the the help of Graeme Pierce I think I would be in the loony bin. From the valuation way back in March right up to completion at the 11th hour before Christmas he has been doing way more than any agent should have to, dealing with the old tenant, chasing solicitors, reading meters and even braving minus ridiculous temperatures to personally check on our empty flat whilst keeping us informed all the time and with an 8 hour time difference in mind. Graeme, if you ever come to Perth, give me a call .. I'm buying the beers!!

GoogleWe had two estate agents in to value mums house, Graeme stood out a mile, his market knowledge, clear thinking and concise attitude put us at ease. With 47 years in the same house and so many memories, it was always going to be a difficult move for my mum, Graeme treated her with total empathy, being a keen gardener, he was able to share his passion to ease mums anxiety while we chatted. His valuation was spot on, we quickly and easily went from valuation to sale, meaning mum did not have a long, anxious, drawn out process. I can not recommend Graeme and his team enough, having dealt with many estate agents on both sides of the process, they stood out a mile. GoogleFirst-rate experience of Julian and team at Thomas Merrifield. I was the buyer rather than the seller, and moving in from out of area. The process became quite protracted, but Julian was totally reliable, always in communication, and kept cool and calm in some very tricky situations. I was very glad to be dealing with Julian and the TM team, and won't hesitate to use them when I come to sell on my flat in due course.

I highly recommend Thomas Merrifield if you enjoy being robbed! Say goodbye to that pesky security deposit money. Why would you, a tenant who has kept the property clean the entire time and cleaned it before leaving, deserve the full amount of your money back? These poor letting agencies and landlords are starving and don’t know when the next meal will come! They deserve all your money!! The poor cleaners had to pull a few weeds out of the garden in my case! Really they should be owed millions for such a brave act! They also had to get a wet sponge and wipe some dust away that is constantly being generated by the musky old carpets! More money out of my deposit! This work was really needed I’m sure, even though it was already cleaned by me. I really should just give them all of my money (savings included) these poor bastards need all the money they can get. What a silly billy I was to think that my security deposit was only for damages caused by me or me leaving the place in a terrible state! It’s actually their money in which they can spend however they want! Yippy! In all seriousness, the agent I spoke to after I left my overpriced box offered to pay for half of the costs (which in total was about £400) because and I quote “I was such a good tenant” he probably took pity on me knowing full well the amount they were taking out of my deposit was tantamount to me bending over and Thomas Merrifield himself sodomising me repeatedly. I can say with confidence that I would have gotten more back or had my full deposit returned if I was just dealing with the landlord and not some unaccountable, decentralised corporate entity such as Thomas Merrifield. I never spoke with the landlord once, I’m sure he’s nice though.

Graeme was very patient and extremely helpful with all our enquiries and explained all in detail. He communicated with the solicitors involved and kept us to to date on any progress. The sale went very smoothly for us. I would highly recommend this agency for anyone who is willing to sell/buy a property.

Worst estate agents I have ever I encountered, the estate agent was rude and arrogant. When we tried to book the viewing the estate agent told us we could only have one day to view the property, we booked this date as it was the only availablity offered. When we arrived at the property we was asked our name by the agent and then immediately told to take our shoes off and shut the door, at this point I felt so uncomfortable I nearly walked out. I then continued and walked further into the house and the estate agent said sorry about this I’m here all day and it’s just so busy with interest, me and my partner was like okay well we are here to see it now . We was then told by the estate agent we had to put a offer in by the next day or we wouldn’t get the property as there was so much interest (shock the house is still on the market). I also felt the estate agent was homophobic by the way she thought my partner was buying the house himself. I continued to go upstairs and the estate agent continued to moan about how she was busy and how much she had of viewings (even though this was the only day they would let anyone in), the estate agent continued to tell us about how many offers was put on the property. I feel the estate agent was unprofessional and when we told them how we felt about the experience the company brushed it off. Avoid at all costs they are not there to help you or want your company. They are time wasters

GoogleWe saw a house come on the market we were very keen to purchase, Graeme and team got our house on the market and sold within a week, and got our offer accepted on the house we wanted. Through the whole process, which had its complications, Graeme was absolutely on the case keeping everyone informed, and keeping things moving in the right direction. I honestly don't think we'd have got through the whole process without him. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks again Graeme and the rest of the team.
