GoogleStudent tennant is run by incompetent staff. I am pretty sure that all the above reviews are completely fake because none of what has been said rings true at least not my experience of dealing with them. While I was renting from them there was a mix-up on the day my rent was due. I rang them to explain that I had got the date wrong and that I had the cash. But they STILL charged me 25 quid. Companies like these exploit students and they get away with absolute murder because young people are not savvy. Take my advice and deal directly with a landlord.

We were really pleased with the interest it created and we soon had very suitable tenants in place. What made ST stand out though was the personal service. I had booked the room NO:5 and got another room. I don't like the room provided now, because it is very congested and am not happy with it. How it's able to change the room that's not viewed and I signed the agreement with one I viewed and booked. The room I booked has been given to someone else who booked after ours done. Any way I am happy if I get the room which I viewed. Please don't cheat on the customers who believed in the service. Showing rooms and providing other rooms which are not even viewed. Very bad experience with you guys. Also other friends also have the same issue. So any one trying to book rooms with student tenants confirm it first.
Kindly provide me the room which I viewed and booked.

GoogleStudent tentant (Kent branch) is the most incompetent agencies I've come across, from 2014-2017 it has been one problem or another, ranging from mice infestation to general upkeep of the property. One thing I have encountered with them is to get anything sorted you have to literally chase them up, which is unacceptable because I pay rent. My advice to anyone wishing to use them in the future, is save the hassle and don't bother.

Surprisingly, I have had series of failed viewings appointment from so many agents then I decided to try StudentTenant. I saw the property on a Saturday on their website, and requested for a viewing on Monday, ( Quite frankly, i didn't think the viewing was going to be arranged that quick considering the short timing) their response was swift and timely. GoogleIf I could put less than a star I would. Horrible, money grabbing company. They are incompetent, don't care about anything else than lining their pockets from wherever they can get it.
Avoid using, private renting is so much cheaper. I was also contacted about this review in a very rude email.

Hi Beth,
When renting a property, the landlord has legal responsibilities to ensure that the tenant is allowed to rent in the UK and that a tenancy agreement is in place so that both parties (tenant and landlord) are protected throughout the tenancy. This includes: proof that the tenant has the right to rent in the UK, a signed tenancy agreement between the tenant and landlord, a guarantor agreement to cover the rent if the tenant cannot pay (if applicable), and the collection and lodging of deposits into a government backed scheme.
Unfortunately, you reserved the property through StudentTenant.com and proceeded to move into the property after liaising directly with the current tenants. This caused many problems for the landlord, they did not have proof that you had a right to rent in the UK, have a signed tenancy and guarantor agreement in place, or your tenancy deposit to be lodged into a government protected scheme.
As a result, we were forced into reaching out to yourself to resolve the issue immediately once we were advised that you had moved in before the necessary checks were made.
