Thank you Wilson Chase Countryside!

After a poor experience with another site, the ladies at Wilson Chase Countryside were a breath of fresh air! From the moment we spoke to them, they have made us feel secure, excited and valued. No question is too small - they were there to help with absolutely anything. We used the Assisted Move scheme and were able to secure our dream home within a week of finding it. The ladies at Wilson Chase were so supportive with our situation and made our early stages of reservation as easy and seamless as possible. All the worries we had about being young buyers have been subsided and we couldn't be happier with the service we have received. We are so excited about moving into our home and know the ladies at Wilson Chase will do everything they can to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We can't thank them enough!

I would like to share my experience so far of reserving and going through the purchase of my first new home at Belmont Place. I can’t thank Penny enough for all her hard work and support she’s been fantastic. I had so many questions and she answered them all, she really made the whole process stress free even with the added constraints of the lockdown.She arranged for a mortgage advisor to call me who helped find the best deal and provided me with a list of solicitors to get the purchase underway. I visited the marketing suite to enquire about purchasing a new home. The two young ladies were both very helpful, Annabel was able to advise on the type of property likely to be within my budget and the plots available. Sian processed my details and was able to give great advice and promptly referred myself onto a mortgage advisor who was able to clarify the finance options available to me.Sian also kindly phoned to check everything was going smoothly.Annabel and Sian made it a very warm and friendly experience and look forward to purchasing my first home soon.

Amazing Staff and Support

I couldn’t thank Tara and Debbie enough from countryside. Buying our first home at Highfield place during a pandemic couldn’t of been easier. They have both supported us the whole way through from beginning with Debbie telling us everything we need and personally guiding us through the forms as this was all to new to us and Tara doing everything she can to make this a smooth and easy process and keeping us to date weekly. We are now only a week away from completing on our first family home on the abbotsfield development. When we first saw the house we had already reserved a property with another developer. However, after getting in touch with Lisa and seeing a video of the property we fell in love and decided to go for it. Our property had so many extras (Fully Furnished!!!) which was an absolute dream especially being unable to shop due to the pandemic and having a young baby! Lisa has been amazing through the whole process going above and beyond to make sure we know all the little features of our soon to be home, answering any queries and questions day and night and even on days off, she even put us in touch with a solicitor and a financial advisor/mortgage advisor which straight away saved a lot of time and stress! The process has been made so easy with Lisa’s help and we can’t wait to finally pick up our keys very soon and i’m sure we won’t be disappointed.

We are waiting to move into our new property on Abbotsfield, St. Helens. This has been delayed due to Covid-19 and it has been an uncertain time for us. We have been searching for a new home for some time, since the kids flew the nest. As I work abroad, we had just kept a room in the in-laws house to use when we were back in the UK. Until the Coronavirus pandemic, we didn’t really consider it a high priority, but having spent the lockdown in my daughter’s beautiful Countryside property, we felt it was time to take the plunge. We have seen first hand the build quality, and thoughtful features included as standard with Countryside. The rooms with the skylights in particular flood the room with light even on a dull day, lifting your spirits.Right from the start, Lisa has been attentive and helpful, and we have had all the information we needed to make a decision. Decided on a pretty Ellesmere, as the size is perfect for the 2 of us, and cracking value for money, not to mention the little extras that means we will be moving into a completely ready house. Just our stuff will be needed to make it home. Highly recommended.

We’ve recently reserved our first home through Countryside and it couldn’t have gone any better. We are first time buyers and hadn’t ever considered a new build but the lovely Angie has guided and helped us through every step, especially during lockdown! Angie has been available at all hours answering all my questions no matter how big or small and we really wouldn’t have been able to do it without her! We used the mortgage advisor and solicitors recommended by Countryside and everything has ran smoothly! We still have a little wait until everything is complete and we can move into our home but we couldn’t be happier!

We can’t believe we have managed to reserve our first home when we aren’t even allowed out the house to go to meetings etc. Our sales advisor Angie has been absolutely amazing, answering all our questions big and small, and supporting us as first time buyers.We are not aware of all the stages involved in buying a house and she gave us plenty of recommendations of people to get in touch with etc to make the whole process run smoothly.Still a few steps to go before our new home is finished but we are over the worst bit now thanks to countryside and Angie!

Belmont Place in Hindley Green.We purchased a beautiful Dunham a month ago and we could not be any happier! From the moment we came to see the first Countryside showhome we knew we would definitely buy a countryside home. Great finishings and lots of additional features that are not offered by any other company!Process:The whole purchase process could not be any smoother! Once we have reserved the property, we had a slight delay from our side due to personal circumstances. Despite deadlines, Countryside still honoured our booking and helped us all the way through! Special thanks to Penny, the sales agent, who has been extremely supportive and helpful from the viewing day up to the moving in. Thanks to Billie from the progressions team. And of course, many thanks to Lee, our financial advisor, recommended by the Countryside, who has secured us a great mortgage deal.Location:Wow, what a beautiful area this is! The developed lays just opposite to a massive, naturally kept park, with two ponds for fishing. Excellent place for walking, jogging or simply reading a book on a bench! On the other side of the development there is a forest, so you can have your morning coffee sitting in the garden and listening to the chirping birds! With only 2 minutes drive, there is also a local plant nursery with fresh fruit, veg and eggs - all organic! And it only takes 5 minutes to drive to the nearest Aldi, Tesco and Lidl.25 mins to Manchester, Liverpool. If you are a fan of cycling, long walks or simply nature - this is a perfect location for you!Completion:House purchase is usually stressful. Bourse purchase during the virus outbreak and lockdown - triple stress. However everyone at Countryside has made this process smooth!House:The house is stunning! We bought a Dunham and absolutely love it. Previously we saw a blyth and it was equally beautiful... What makes countryside stand out from other developers is the additional features that are included in the price. Our garden has been beautifully turfed and there is a water tap to water the plants. Penny has also given us some incentives providing the flooring throughout the house, all appliances and even contributing to the legal fees!!!After sales:As we moved in during the lockdown, the site is closed and therefore cannot comment much on the after sales. We have sent a small snagging list and been reasurred these will be addressed as soon as the team returns. We have been receiving regular emails from Penny to check on us - how reasurring it is to know that Countryside is still there for us despite the lockdown!Before we reserved our home, we had looked round other companies, but just through discussions and showhomes visits, we knew none of the companies offered same service as Countryside!Mat and Bart

Happy customer!

I’m 6 months into my new home, built in Stockport (Blackberry Point). I read some of these reviews and felt nervous so wanted to put my honest thoughts now that I’m settled. My experience has been excellent - the house is well built, the design is great, the estate is lovely and each house is slightly different which gives character. There was a small snagging list but to be fair to Countryside they got it sorted pretty quickly. There was a complication with my mortgage which Countryside were a little unforgiving over. They charged me interest each day on the value of the property - but I guess those issues weren’t their fault so I’m not too annoyed by that. There is also a bit of a drainage issue in the garden which I feel should have been thought-out by a company who builds homes. However I’m not majorly annoyed by it. So all in all I’ve arrived at 4 stars as my rating. Good customer service, a nice buying experience, friendly staff, a clear regard for post-sales service, unique & characterful designs. Every day I get home I feel chuffed to bits, so they’ve got the company strap-line bang on. In a market full of shady characters, this company is excellent in my view.

Perfect!

We stepped into the show home at Wren Green and we knew straight away that the house was perfect for us. Angie and Lisa in the sales office were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly - nothing was too much hassle, and every question we had was answered. They helped us choose our kitchen and flooring after many hours of bickering and indecisiveness, as well as always being welcoming whenever we dropped in for a chat every now and then after visiting our plot to check for progress.Everything was so easy and everybody I've spoken to at Countryside upto now has been nothing but helpful. Sam in the Sales Progression team was excellent on the lead up to our exchange of contracts, she was very understanding and flexible when needed to be, and it was reassurring to know that I had a dedicated member of the team looking after our purchase, so if I ever had a problem I had one person to call and I could rest assured it was all being taken care of.We're now in our new home and it's perfect, it is everything we could have ever wished for and we still can't believe we've got such a lovely house as a first home!

We purchased a new build from Countryside and as this was the first time we had brought a new build we were slightly concerned. we need not of been as Penny and Annabel made the experience really straight forward and made us feel very valued all the way through especially as we were 250 miles away whilst it was being built they kept us informed and were happy to go measure things even the garden and checking where the best place we could put the free shed!we would definitely buy from these two ladies again and the countryside team are defiantly a team from the sales team to the site managers and the tradesmen and the customer service team we have been here a year now and they are still available if we have any concerns or questions.

Myself and my partner are first time buyers and we popped into Countryside in Duttons Field Flintshire, we were kindly welcomed by Annabel who instantly made us feel comfortable she talked us through all of the houses and what they offer and all the process and told us everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions for us. Myself and my partner instantly knew this is who we wanted to buy our first home with. I bought a Countryside house in Cheshire. It was my first house that I have ever bought so the reassurance and the way that Annabel guided me through the process was great. The design of the house was lovely and I visited a few different builders before I chose this one. Fleecehold / Leaseholders Beware

Properties are nice, quality seems good from my experience. However- Countryside have contributed to me being stuck in a Leasehold trap... escallating costs (service charges, maintenance charges, ground rent etc). The Ground Rent is also sold with an erroneous 'doubling every 15 years' clause... which can only be justified by greed. Many 'freeholds' on my estate- are also trapped as Fleeceholds... ie restrictive covenants placed onto their properties. Please be ware of Countrysides 'small print'- the sales agents will play down the above (as 'small maintenance charges') but they rapidly escalate and you will regret buying.

We are absolutely in love!

We are absolutely in love with our a First Home!!! Countryside were extremely helpful from start to finish. Both Lisa’s at Wren Green were fantastic ladies and made our lives so much easier whilst trying to sort everything. The quality of the home is amazing. Lots of people have commented on the design of the house and how well everything was done. Every niggle (although very few!) were sorted within a week of us moving in, if not already beforehand. Would definitely recommend to anyone who asks and we have already thought about which of the bigger houses we would like next!

Wow....Wren Green Personnel are the Best

Amazing!! From Lisa and her colleagues to the guys on site, our experience of the team at Wren Green has been fantastic. Anyone whose ever moved house will know the associated ups and downs but we can honestly say that it was seamless from viewing our house at short notice to completion within 4 weeks. Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa, she has been both professional and approachable at all times, going out of her way to help us. We must also mention Tom and Stuart who really did pull out all the stops when our removal company couldn’t get our sofa into the lounge, they came round and within 10 minutes it was in situ, I’m sure there aren’t many development sites that offer that kind of customer care!!Thank you guys your fantastic

This is my first new build home and I couldn’t be happier. From my first contact with the Abbotsfield site, Angie was friendly, courteous and very informative, even though the process of selling my own home was a bit of a nightmare. Katherine in Sales Progression contacted me on a regular basis to make sure everything was alright. As one of the early ones to move in on this site, Rachel was there to make sure I understood all the paperwork and what happened next. Any snags have been completed by friendly and cooperative workman, who still say hello when they see me. I have read the reviews about other sites, but can only say that I can not fault the staff at Abbotsfield. My experience with Countryside has only been positive and I would recommend them to family and friends.
