We would like to thank Shauna Walsh at Strutt & Parker for her remarkable work during a recent purchase we went through in the neighbourhood. We were first time buyers, and faced a really difficult seller. The property was advertised through multiple agents, and we initially went with another local agent, but the whole thing had failed due to poor communication qualities of that agent. Then, we came across Shauna when viewing another property, and immediately felt at ease with her, and let her know that we liked another property (the one we live in now). There you go; she was immediately in contact with the seller, and very efficiently went back and force between us and the seller, and to hour surprise, successfully sorted it out. She was very helpful with the later stages, and made sure that we completed the process in a timely fashion that worked for us. Given the looming lockdown in London, I was very eager to secure a flat as soon as possible. This means I came in contact with most of London's estate agents. Even though we decided to put forward an offer for a different flat, Charlotte Hewett was, by far, the kindest, most helpful, most involved and patient lettings negotiator I have met. Sadly our experience hasn't been great with Strutt & Parker.Here is some honest feedback about our experience!1. Promises and deadlines for marketing our property were undelivered2. The photo shoot was that bad we had to appoint our own photographer.3. Once a viewing was booked we'd spend hours preparing our property to look its best and after the viewing we'd receive zero feedback.This was on the selling side only.Ref the purchasingWe were in a chain whereas both properties were marketed by Strutt and Parker. The vendors of where we were purchasing decided they couldn't find anywhere suitable after we'd spent £2500 on legal fees. If this was not bad enough we were even more mortified when Strutt & Parker willingly re-marketed the property just a few months later for £50k more without even consulting us first.This will be costly to Strutt & Parker going forwards as we are property developers in the area, and they could have generated a lot more business from us, however we have gone with another agent who will be selling 5 properties for us in the first instance.

Caroline Clark disgraceful attitude.

We've dealt with Caroline Clark twice over the past year and we are truly disgusted with her manners. Very unprofessional and abrupt, cannot wait to get rid of you!Do not waste your money doing reference checks with her, she's not open and honest about what the landlord will and will not accept. You will pay for the reference only to discover that there's some reason that you can't be accepted as a tenant. Her one-liner emails are very impersonal. She forgets that she's made an appointment for a house viewing and has kept us waiting at a property while she casually drives up without an apology. The worst customer service ever. Disgusting.
