The process of placing our house on the market and the stress involved was very much mitigated by the utterly professional service we received. GoogleAmazing experience and service! I would highly recommend this agency, and specifically Charlotte Hewett, when renting/buying a property. Charlotte is the most helpful state agent I’ve had so far, not only in London but in ay country I’ve lived in. She truly cares for the well-being and needs of the tenant and landlord. She tries to get everyone the best deal posible in the most efficient manner (without losing anyones time), and she goes one step further helping the client by suiting off working hours scheduling times, any special requests, and providing valuable advise.

GoogleWorking with John Quinn on behalf of Strutt and Parker was such a pleasure. I had been shown a previous property and made an offer but did not get it. John took time to find out what I was looking for and not long after he called me to let me know I could come and see a new one he just got that wasn’t put online yet. It was perfect and we were able to secure a beautiful property in my budget with a terrace, lots of natural light and a move in date within one week! On my end it seemed like everything just lined up right in time but I appreciate the hard work and craftsmanship from John and his team to make a complicated and speedy process feel so gracefully executed. GoogleCharlotte Hewett is one of the most wonderful real estate agents I’ve had the pleasure of working with! She greeted me with enthusiasm and charm and was incredibly accommodating (offering to send videos of a unit we were unable to see due to Covid, immediately communicating updates on cross-offers, etc.). She called me directly to make sure I had all the information that I needed and went above and beyond to make sure that I got a highly competitive unit. You'd do well to have her in your corner - especially in a market like this one!

Googlevery recently we used S&P’s service for moving to W8 letting and I must say that Charlotte Hewett from the Notting Hill has been really incredibly efficient and useful. She led the tenancy agreement with a lot of diligence, and carefulness, she responded very quickly to our concerns. Her negotiators skills were also useful while making sure we were being made aware on any issues. I can only strongly recommend the agent and more specifically Charlotte, thank you so much for your great help.

TrustpilotCambridge rentals fiasco
This relates to the rentals service in Cambridge. We rented a house from Strutt & Parker for more than three years. They were never quick to deal with repairs and other issues, however we had a direct relationship with the owner which made life easier. When we moved out at the end of June 2024, we got the full benefit of Strutt & Parker's contempt for tenants, stunning slowness and incompetence. It took them nearly four months -- until 28 October 2024 -- to return the deposit. There was a litany of lame excuses about the time needed for estimates for some minor repairs. The reality was that it just wasn't a priority, they didn't care and they couldn't even work out which photographs attached to the contract corresponded to which actual rooms. If you rent property in Cambridge, beware this lot. Or at least be ready to suffer.

GoogleMy recent experience with Strutt & Parker was very good. Sian Merrilees was a pleasure to work with: highly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful at each step of the process. My particular case had the added complexity of me moving from the U.S. (thus requiring virtual showings, different sets of documentation, some currency delays on my end, etc.), but the team worked with me hand-in-hand to ensure a seamless, efficient process, notwithstanding those challenges. I would highly recommend!
