I began renting my flat with John D. Wood, Fulham Road, in 2010. I live in Edinburgh, so it was important for me to have good management and choice of tenants. in both these area they have been exceptional. They dealt promptly with any issues. in particular the management of Eduard Popa and Stephen English have been first class.I decided to sell the flat this April. Huw Jones has been in charge, and once again his service has been first class. A number of people looked at the flat, I selected a buyer, and we conclude next week. My compliments to the professionalism I received which ensured a very satisfactory outcome.

DO NOT GO WITH THEM. Poor communication from John D Wood. We wanted to purchase a property sold through them but their behaviour put us off. Holly from the Dulwich Branch was rude, unprofessional and not transparent in regards to process.

GoogleI have had a very positive association with John D Wood & Co., for over 16 years. The company has leased and managed my flat over this period, both efficiently and professionally. I have recently sold my flat, with the assistance of Andy Harris and Lily Burgering. Andy's knowledge of the market led to an offer being received early in the process, and Lily's persistence in following through with all aspects of the sale, led to a very successful outcome. Andy and Lily both communicated with me regularly, and were available for any queries I had at any time. I can highly recommend John D Wood & Co., in relation to both leasing and selling of property, and feel grateful to have had a relationship with both departments over many years.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not subject yourself to the JDW Weybridge office if you can avoid it - they have provided easily the worst service we have ever experienced. We have been renting for 3 months in a JDW managed house. There are multiple material ongoing issues from a leaking roof to broken heating and the agent does not do anything about - for months. We have a 1 year old child who is suffering constant sickness now. They have lied to us about repair parts being ordered and have not held the landlord accountable for fixing anything. Jazz Dillon is of particular incompetence. She has promised us a call with senior management and of course, radio silence.

I had an offer accepted on 11 march 2026 then i had a call on the 13th March 2026 telling me they had another offer so i need to up my offer. This is so inequitable and wrong so just want to warn others out there or these cowboy underhand practices.

From start to finish with seeking a rental property, Amanda and Anna were so helpful in guiding me through the process so everything ran smoothly up to when I moved in. Even the Landlord was present then to show me all about the appliances.I cannot commend John D Wood highly enough as regards letting properties to a tenant such as myself.

It has been already two days since signing the rent agreement and paying upfront the full rent for a year yet the keys not released. I don't recommend to use JDW's services for real estate rentals. It is a total disaster and frustration.

We have had such a bad experience with John D Wood in Battersea. Their lettings team doesn’t respond to e-mails, paperwork is done incorrectly, keys for our house weren’t accounted for. The management of this office is equally as diabolical and I would steer clear of using them in any capacity.

Great overall experience when renting a flat in Fulham through John D Wood.Eduard Popa was extremely helpful with my flat search. He was able to address all questions about the property I was inquiring about in a very professional and reliable manner.Finding a flat in February 2022 when most companies and universities are asking people to come back to London had become an impossible mission, taking most of my evenings and weekends.I walked into John D Wood at 10am on a Saturday, and by 2.30pm, my offer had been accepted and one week deposit paid to secure the property. Eduard removed the property from the website in front of me to avoid any future misunderstandings. The rest of the team were really helpful in the following days as we worked through the references process and the tenancy agreement.Eduard, Abigail and Lola, a team of superstars at John D Wood Fulham!I definitely recommend this team to anyone looking for a flat in Fulham.

TrustpilotJDW LETTINGS DEPT HIGH ST WIMBLEDON - AVOID
The head of lettings in Wimbledon High Street cold-called me for months promising me she had corporate clients for my property, this was an untruth. From October to December, she tried to coerce me into dropping the price, advising me the 'market was particularly quiet' (old gem used by agents trying to scaremonger you into submission' I made two formal written complaints about this lady AC, and they were to respond to as per JDW's website statements. AC then tried to force me to accept two out of four tenants whose references were sketchy (one has only joined his company and the other was a Temp). AC then tried to coerce me into accepting tenants and rush through a gas safety cert which the company JDW recommended failed on my property (this later proved to be a false failed GSC). Out of the blue, I was asked to make my complaint to AC who responded to a complaint about herself!!!!! She then sent me an invoice for the rent for four tenants who have never entered the property and had failed references that were turned down. AC is. a bully whose sharp practice is supported by Ms Haskins another employee who is trying to coerce money from me on false pretences. I am outing this company.Normally I would respond.. however it did not end there, AC’s dept head from JDW HQ then started to bully me demanding I pay them one years rent even though no transaction or tenant was supplied ( due to FAKE references). The bullied me to the point of a breakdown! This company knowingly lied to me- tried to brush over trying to take 12 mo the fees and simply kept badgering me up to recently.

The Battersea Team were brilliant to deal with in the sale of our property. Fred in particular was fantastic to deal with throughout the sale process. As we were immigrating to New Zealand during the sale process and had departed the UK after accepting an offer but before exchange of contracts, Fred was exceptional with providing feedback and assisting us when opposite time zones were a challenge. During this difficult selling time they did everything they could to make the process work as smoothly as possible. They marketed the property quickly and accurately, managed the viewing without a single problem and sold the property. Warren Appleton and Adrian Seabrook were my main contacts and I could not have been given better service. I would recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property.
