Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.

GoogleI wouldn't never recommend this agency to anyone! Highly unprofessional, deceitful and go back on their word whilst management hides behind closed doors. Our experience with them has been nothing but disappointing and full of lies. First they pushed and pushed for an earlier move out date, confirming verbally to it and pressuring my partner to change her move out arrangements (costly ones). When something went wrong on their end they went back on the agreement and said there's nothing that can be done, leaving my partner with extra bills and no answers.

GoogleWould strongly advise against working with Foxtons. There are some scathing reviews already posted which echo our experience. Do not ignore them. Communication has been the major issue. When it came to our move out and deposit dispute, our property manager, Agne, was unresponsive and unprofessional. Our emails were repeatedly ignored for weeks. Every time we tried to call her we would go straight to voicemail - she probably blocked us. Furthermore, when we called the office number, she would refuse to come to the phone or call us back and no one else was helpful. We were shocked to discover she was the divisional manager. We were only able to get a response from her after filing a complaint with the head office and looping in her boss. This was after about 2 months of chasing. In terms of the dispute itself, Foxtons did the check in report very poorly so at check out they used it to try to charge us for marks and damage that was present before. Thankfully we had photos of everything from check in. In spite of all the evidence we presented, they still charged us on vague descriptions without providing additional evidence. Eventually, Agne told us to just raise a dispute with the external agency which will now take another few months likely taking the entire move out process to half a year. We would add that our initial property search was positive. We had Liam who is great. Unfortunately, your property manager will be someone else and you aren’t given a choice here. We have never felt so disrespected by an agency and will certainly not be recommending Foxtons to anyone.

GoogleAs soon as I met Jas, I knew I would be in good hands with him as my agent because he had really done his homework and was very knowledgeable about similar flats for sale (or recently sold) in the same building. It was also clear that he knows the real estate market in the area extremely well, as a result of which he was able to offer sensible, intelligent advice regarding the timing of putting the property on the market, whether to renovate or not to renovate, and the proposed selling price. I was very pleased that he was quickly able to find a motivated purchaser, and everything moved forward much more speedily than I had expected. I recommend him highly!

I definitely recommend Foxtons for people that are looking for very nice quality in terms of flats and who need to move asap. Foxtons help you achieve your wishes in the same journey. Some agencies take a week to process the documents, clean the flat etc but with Foxtons , things happen NOW. They have enough people and resources to do it and they try their best to make people happy. They have cars and can show you many flats the same day.

TrustpilotExtremely poor handling of deposit refund, lack of accountability and communication.
I moved out of my flat on 25 September 2025, and my landlord immediately approved the full return of my deposit. I provided my bank details to Foxtons on 3 October, and the online portal confirmed that the refund would be processed within 5, 7 working days.

Very very disappointed and let down by this agency not sure why they have so many branches. This is our first rental by all young individuals and teenager, it has gone horribly wrong.

Two months after the end of a short let Foxtons still hadn't returned the deposit and failed to answer all correspondence. No issues or deductions have been suggested; they simply don't respond and I had to raise a dispute under the deposit protection scheme.

GoogleI rented my 1 bedroom apartment through Foxton near Sloan Sq. last month. I found their rental service straightforward and very helpful. Once we agreed financial terms, Foxton’s online portal and payment system made the whole “move in” process a lot simpler. Our representative Antonio Bello was always available over email or text and dealt with my queries swiftly including out of hours. I have no hesitation to recommend their service to my family and friends.
