Terrible service. Very disappointed. I found a short let property on their portal myself, the agent (Amir Abbasian) kept suggesting either awful properties, or ones over my budget. They were very quick to call back and close the deal but once the deal was made, I never once was able to speak directly to my agent Olivia Taylor, or anyone from Foxtons again. Repeated messages and email queries went unanswered. Every two weeks a new person would be in touch and all my queries would be ignored. The property was nice and in good condition but i paid Foxtons 350 pounds for the end of tenancy clean, and was slapped with a 600 pound cleaning claim on my deposit. The property was never cleaned and my landlord claimed the charges from my deposit. at least a dozen emails later, I still don't have a protection document number for my deposit. I was told my deposit was protected. I ws told I would be provided an inventory upon moving in. I was told the place would be cleaned at the end of my tenancy, for which i paid. None of the above happened. Still waiting for part of my deposit to be returned, even though they said it was transferred three weeks ago and should take 5 to 7 days to be credited. I've settled the dispute with my landlord now, even though it is extortion, but it seems even he was being cheated by Foxtons.

A few weeks ago I went into the office and was warmly greeted by Kinan, he got all the information from us about what we were looking for and found us a perfect property to rent. Kinan done everything he could to help us get this property and talked us through everything. Amazing customer service!! I would highly recommend anyone looking for somewhere to ask for Kinan. GoogleEddy Lord helped me on a search to find a flat and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was creative, patient, professional, patient and charming. Eddy is never pushy or aggressive, rather he listens and finds a range of options for the tenant. I felt very well taken care of and more importantly respected. This is a very difficult market and Eddy actively looked for and kept me updated on all possible options. Some times they worked and sometimes they didn’t but he remained committed to the search. Would highly recommend.

If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

GoogleJust moved to the new apartment and i love it. I'd recommend Kinan from Foxtons. I've talked to so many agents who all failed to keep contact after I leave my details with them. But Kinan is the only one who calls me with great passion whenever he has a property which he thinks I'd like. And he'd arrange me to view the property on the same day that I express my interest. He's super efficient as well, replying my long inquiry emails within just one day. He's more like a friend who gives genuine suggestions instead of someone who just wants you to pay. All in all, I think it has been a really pleasant experience so far.

Amir was flexible and versatile and nothing was too much trouble. Great service in the office to with Olivia. Just streaks ahead of other agents we contacted. No comparison. Even when things seemed terribly complicated and near impossible she managed to get everything to align and went above and beyond to get our sale through at the necessary deadline! I am a landlord and have received very poor service from Foxtons. No communication. Have to follow up emails several times. Frequent change of staff. High fees and provides no service at all. Regret changing over to foxtons to manage property. Stay away!
