Until I met first Bridget and then Natasha, flat/house hunting was overwhelming. The first property that I viewed was with Bridget on High Street in Kenilworth. I was pleasantly surprised when she took time to find out precisely what I was looking for and to recommend another property in their portfolio that was soon coming up. Nobody had done that and I left that viewing feeling a sense of direction. I then viewed two properties with Natasha, the second of which I got. Natasha exudes patience, grace and warmth as she journeys with you through the property. I also appreciated that she proactively told me about the great and not so great aspects of a property to help me make an informed application/decision. On my move in day, I could not figure out how to work the front door and was grateful to Natasha for coming to my rescue on such short notice. Thank you Pittaway Thompson!

Pittaway Thompson have truly been on our side from the start through to the signing of the contracts. When I saw their advertisement, I wanted to give them the opportunity to sell our house because they were a local business, young and starting up. We have not been disappointed. Their service has been outstanding and feel no hesitation in recommending them to prospective buyers/vendors. They sold our house in 9 days and achieved this through beautifully presented styling and marketing of our house. Who can forget Mart’s iconic videos and photos- his attention to detail is second to none. We almost wanted to buy our own home all over again when we saw the finished product. Thank you Olivia and Lauren for the painstaking and careful styling of our home. I am writing to share my experience with Pittaway Thompson lettings team, hoping it will benefit prospective tenants. In January 2024, my husband and I rented a property from Pittaway Thompson for 12 months. The property was located on Redfern Ave, Kenilworth. While I rarely post negative reviews, the issues we encountered prompted me to share our experience. On the positive side, the initial letting process was smooth, and the property's appearance was good. However, there were significant downsides: * **Non-functional Shower:** Throughout our entire tenancy, the shower did not function. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue and even offering to arrange a plumber myself, the letting team failed to fix it. The property was then rented to the next tenant without addressing the problem. * **Deposit Dispute:** After vacating the property, Pittaway Thompson initially attempted to charge us £155.00 for an alleged food odor in the carpet, despite agreeing two days prior that such a charge was not permissible under the law. We raised a dispute through the Deposit Protection Service (DPS). After a month, I received my deposit back, less £165.00, as they stated that I needed to raise a separate dispute with the agent through DPS. Following another two months, I received the FULL DEPOSIT amount, with INTEREST as the property was indeed left in good condition after a thorough spring cleaning that lasted three days. It is important to be aware of your rights and protect yourself. Always take videos and pictures of the property when you vacate AND when you rent on very first day, as you never know what allegations may be made to deduct from your deposit. Be sure to check government websites and familiarise yourself with the Tenant Fees Act 2019. It seems some agents consider deducting £100-£200 from deposits a way to supplement their income, which is unacceptable.

I have just moved into a property rented through Pittaway Thompson and can say that I am unable to fault them for their communication and assistance throughout the entire process, from enquiring about the property and initial viewing, all the way through to collecting the keys (especially as a first- time renter!). I was made to feel that no question was too silly (and believe me there were a few!) and Natasha in particular could not have been more friendly and gracious towards me, and is always quick to answer any of my queries or concerns. The worst Estate Agency , staff are so rude and unprofessional, I had an issues to return the keys due my car broken and I asked for one more day to finish my move and cleaning the property and they said that won’t be possible and the have to pay a cleaning company for that and they will take the money from my deposit , I knew it about a that , they find any excuse to not return the full money. I had my property on the market with another agent for some considerable time with no offers. Despite knowing a couple of very good estate agents personally, I had chosen a nearby agent that I thought was right for my area. I am brand loyal and was reluctant to change, but Pittaway Thompson kept mailing me, noticing my house still hadn't sold. They said they had a different approach, but don't they all say that? I thought I'd have them round to the house to have a look, to see what ideas they might have, what harm could it do? I wasn't sure I was going to change agent and thought about trying the agents I knew. However, as soon as I met Olivia and Alex, I really liked them. They said they knew what type of buyer to target with the marketing. The minute they showed me a brochure from another property they were selling, I instantly made the decision to move to them and gave my existing agents notice. My house marketing brochure was so good, it almost made me not want to sell the house! As I'd already completed on my new home and moved out I didn't have much choice. They listened to my ideas and copy amendments and came at various times of the day to photograph the house in different lights and even helped stage the house to appeal to the target market.
