Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

I've been fortunate that since Ariana has taken over as the lettings manager things have been as smooth as silk. Businesses are made by the people who work there and since she joined things have been terrific. Responsive and proactive, and making a real difference.

GoogleFoxtons sold our one bed flat in Islington in early 2024 and we could not have been more happy with the service. They moved exceptionally quickly and at one point there were five different agents showing prospective buyers the house. We sold for £30k more than what we were expecting and I’m sure this was due to all the work of Foxtons staff. We were particularly happy with Niel and Elle for their work at the beginning and end of the process in making it all happen.

GoogleWe had a very positive experience with Foxtons Islington. Zohre was extremely helpful and personable. She was able to find properties that suited our criteria and was consistent in following up on each property we saw and new properties. While we did end up finding a property through a different agent - I would highly recommend Foxtons Islington and in particular Zohre for her positive and friendly attitude and regular communication about new properties.

GoogleNEVER use Foxtons. They have held over £1100 of our deposit for 2 months on issues that the property ALREADY had before we moved in and that they themselves reported! Useless and do not care about tenants, they only care about their rich landlords paying them an extortionate amount to do a half arsed job. Terrible experience. Adrienne Cleverly is not a property manager, she can't even check her own reports properly.

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

GoogleI recently sold my flat through Foxtons and was lucky enough to have Nicola Dawkins as my negotiator. Nicola was professional and efficient throughout the process. She communicated really well and was supportive at every stage, giving the benefit of her expertise to make things run smoothly. I can highly recommend her.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

GoogleI worked with many different letting agencies and Chris and Matthew were by far the most communicative and helpful people I spoke with. Chris met me at the viewing and was able to answer all my questions and advise me on placing an offer, and was very communicative immediately after the viewing through the weekend and guiding me through the process. Very pleased with their work, would recommend to anyone!

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

GoogleSo far, I have used Foxtons Islington as a first time buyer up to the point of making a purchase offer. I'm docking a star for now, because the previous Sales Negotiator assigned to me (who has since left) was very difficult to get in touch with; however my file was handed to Steven Dinh and within a few days of gathering my requirements Steven set up a highly successful and very accommodating viewing. Steven is probably one of the most thoughtful agents we have come across, really trying to understand what we want and giving us very swift access to listings as and when they come onto the market. The result was we had an offer accepted the day after the viewing, for a highly desirable property. We could tell how much Steven and his colleagues genuinely wanted to help us secure this purchase, and hopefully avoid being gazumped, with how quickly they were able to help us process the paperwork. We asked a few lease-related questions at 10am in the morning and Steven helped us process everything despite working on the move (5 stars!), and an offer made and accepted by 3pm in the afternoon. Really impressed so far - and I will come back and update this review as the sale progresses. Update September 2022 - our sale completed! We were very lucky to have an extremely cooperative buyer, and both Steven and Filipe at this branch were incredibly helpful. We did send out 5 emails at one point with no replies but after chasing Steven and Filipe further we were able to get more prompt responses.

GoogleWe have finally purchased our family home through Foxtons. As an agency they were very efficient , attentive and assisted the sale to the best of their capacity. I mainly dealt with Chris with the house viewings, he is quite honestly the most genuine and nicest estate agent I’ve ever met. He always replied to texts, call and emails promptly, was well informed about the property and more than happy to answer/find out the answers to any queries we had and to facilitate the sale as much as he could - a true asset to the company and industry. Stuart who I only dealt with over the phone helped with the price negotiations. He was always professional and I felt he had a good judgment, was fair and honest. Despite having preconceived ideas of the company, I would now happily recommend and use both the agents I dealt with during my purchase. GoogleJust wanted to leave a review about Neil Marrinan, we originally met Neil when we were looking to purchase a property a couple of years ago and decided then and there when we would look to sell we would only put our house on the market through him. Neil have been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of putting the house on the market, securing a buyer for us and arranging the sale of the property. Nothing ever seems like too much when Neil is involved. I cannot recommend Foxtons and Neil’s service enough. A very happy customer.
