Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

Google2024: Update to my review. I am a year into my tenancy and Foxtons continue to not provide sufficient duty of care and act unlawfully. Avoid!!! 2023: By far the worst experience I've ever had with an estate agent. When I moved in there was rubbish, empty beer cans, doors off hinges, a hole in the kitchen floor, no blinds for the bedrooms that face the street and the house hadn't been cleaned and lots more. I've lived in the property two months now and only one thing (the doors off the hinges) have been fixed. They don't reply to your emails or give you any update on anything, in fact they aggressively speak to you as if you're the one in the wrong. How they manage their lettings is completely immoral and illegal. Avoid like the plague.

We listed our house with foxtons and the service has been abysmal. There’s been next to no effort or movement with trying to sell the house, no communications with any options etc. You get an account online which shows upcoming viewings - almost all viewings ‘booked’ haven’t actually happened and they don’t contact us to confirm it either. You expect a lot from an estate agent with their level of commission - dont bother.

I want to start by saying thank you so much for all of the hard work Ingrid has put in from our first conversation a couple of weeks ago, From the day i received the email from Ingrid regarding the property that came up fitting all my requirements Ingrid has been absolutely amazing myself and children have had a very stressful hard and difficult time the past 19 weeks but after dealing with Ingrid for such a short space of time Ingrid achieved and helped us more then anyone has whilst going through this struggles as soon as he started helping us start the procedure he has done absolutely everything in his power to make sure me and my Famliy not only got our property but also helped with everything else that needed to be done alongside application and I honestly can’t thank him enough. I was very grateful that she made the effort to show me the property several times on a Saturday, even when she wasn’t working. GoogleWorking with Chris has been a pleasure. I met a number of agents and by far, he stood out as very professional, an excellent communicator and 100% dependable. He’s sincere, and won’t leave you hanging. He’s been a rock throughout the process that had some curves in the road. On top of that he has a good sense of humour that adds a nice lightness to the process at the right times. I would highly recommend him to friends to work with. He’s a rare find in what can be , a rather cut throat field.

GoogleElle provided a fantastic service from beginning to end. I was dealing with a multitude of estate agents and Elle shone above them all. She went over & above her role as an estate agent. She understood what I was looking for and didn’t waste my time in any way. She arranged viewings quickly and was always punctual. She was extremely quick to reply to any queries I had and continued to support me after my offer was accepted through to completion. She recommended lawyers who turned out to be excellent. used to be good but ever since the intro of the renters rights acts, property management service has dropped off a cliff. This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

GoogleZahra really took time and care in helping us find a flat and sign our tenancy agreement. Throughout the entire process she has been understanding, thorough in her work and kind above all else. I’d highly recommend Zahra as an agent and would be glad to work with her again in the future. Also, a shoutout to Nathan who jumped in on his day off to help with some issues on the day of our move.

GoogleWe had a very easy and quick experience working with Shanice-Chanel. I was available for one afternoon to secure a short term let and she was quick to provide options, additional details, answer questions via email, whatsapp and phone, and she provided paperwork guidance. I tried working with other Foxtons agents for nearly 3 months, and none were as responsive as she was. Some went missing entirely when I had questions. She was a great help, highly recommended!

If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

GoogleMehdadul (Medz) Kazi was fantastic throughout the process. We actually had a viewing with him a few months ago for a different property but he created a good impression from day 1. We successfully exchanged this week and Medz’s communication skills and response times were excellent. He’s able to move at pace, always calm and polite.
