nightmare agents. do yourself a favour and use a different one. these are the guys who give estates agents their bad name. its been almost 2 months since i completed and they still havent given me the full set of keys or removed furniture as promised. i dealt with jordan at the temple fortune branch and every day he has a new excuse. they dont respond to messages or phone calls and provide a truly awful service. there are plenty of other good agents around who provide a much better service.

TrustpilotThey take the money & abandon…
They take the money and then abandon their landlords. Do not rent a property with these agents as there is no customer support or response. I have had a couple of issues and queries - I have had to ring several times with long wait times and email multiple times for a response, still waiting three weeks later. They never reply or respond costing me hours of wasted time and stress.

He is very professional and proactively in handling with the requests and issues regarding the tenant & property management. He always responds to my enquiries promptly and provides valuable advice.

My review only refers to Nikita Harper from Foxtons Letting Support Department, who called me today to help me resolve several issues with my logging in to my Foxtons Account. She was helpful, courteous, and followed up on our conversations. I have nothing good to say about the rest of the Foxtons team, including people at the Head Office, who were not only unhelpful, but kept on transferring my call to other people in the Foxton organisation, who were of course not at their seats, but "please leave a message and I will get back to you". I wasted well over an hour of my time today on the phone trying to get Foxtons support to resolve a problem they have created.

Absolute scam of a company. I’ve never gone to a Foxtons viewing where the property was as advertised - e.g. they say it’s a 5 minute walk from the station and it ends up being a 20 minute walk. They’ll do anything to get you through the door of a property, in the hope that you’ll somehow fall in love with the Godforsaken place once you get there. It’s a bit like how men all say they’re 6’0 on dating apps and then hope that their mediocre personality will win you over when you realise they’re 5’9 in person. Also, if you give your number to one office, be prepared to have endless phone calls for the rest of your life. I once had 10 phone calls in one day from different offices I wasn’t registered with, all asking if I would like to register with them. This morning I’ve had four offices call so far and it’s only 11am. If you don’t pick up the phone, they just immediately call back - very convenient if you’re in a meeting or on another call. This is despite the fact that I have asked them to remove my number from their database. And they all have different numbers so blocking one does nothing, and you don’t know if it could be someone else calling so you inevitably have to pick up just in case. So basically, sign up for Foxtons if you want to be pestered for the rest of your life by absolute crooks!! How fun!!

I did not, I relied on the posting. This is not a one-bedroom flat. This is a studio. There is no separate bedroom, only a step up to a bedroom area. This should be listed as a studio. Also, the kitchen is not fully fitted. There is only a mini-refrigerator. The lounge/living room area is not spacious, it's tiny, with a table that barely fits two people. And the landlord of this space is very difficult. The location is amazing, though, and the ceilings are very high. The view is also lovely, of St Pauls. And the building is generally quiet (though the lift is often out of service). I would give this flat more than two stars if it were listed accurately.

I use Alycia Levy as my property manager and have done so for several years and she is excellent, always going above and beyond. She is responsive, knowledgeable, providing excellent customer service and I am not sure what I would have done without her as she is always gets things sorted and organised and keeps me updated.

GoogleAbel Rich was extremely helpful and efficient in my home search. He helped me secure a really wonderful home after the upsetting event of my home being flooded and my daughter and I needed new accommodation near to her school very quickly. Abel was really kind and sensitive - and more importantly fast, he made sure everything went really smoothly with the paper work and liasing with the land lady and all parties involved in an unusual situation. I was really happy to be in a wonderful new flat less than two weeks after the flood happened and i cant thank Abel enough for his wonderful hard work and brilliant customer service.

Absolutely terrible experience as a tenant. Apartment put on the market for sale and I had to suffer through six months of viewings although my contract did not stipulate this. Very inconsiderate and once I gave notice to move out the property was immediately put on the market for a higher rent. Agents come for viewing with no notice and have no respect. Several deductions taken from deposit creating various inane reasons . Avoid at all costs.

GoogleFoxtons have a good number of properties right available. Nicola was great in only showing me flats that fit my search criteria and was very responsive. Downside with Foxtons is their agents operate in a very competitive environment, leading to 10+ agents contacting you after each request and agents are are pushy to the point one can feel rushed in making decisions.

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

Google2024: Update to my review. I am a year into my tenancy and Foxtons continue to not provide sufficient duty of care and act unlawfully. Avoid!!! 2023: By far the worst experience I've ever had with an estate agent. When I moved in there was rubbish, empty beer cans, doors off hinges, a hole in the kitchen floor, no blinds for the bedrooms that face the street and the house hadn't been cleaned and lots more. I've lived in the property two months now and only one thing (the doors off the hinges) have been fixed. They don't reply to your emails or give you any update on anything, in fact they aggressively speak to you as if you're the one in the wrong. How they manage their lettings is completely immoral and illegal. Avoid like the plague.
