I had an excellent experience with Chesterton Islington, namely Simon! I was abroad looking for rentals, and he was INCREDIBLY helpful, communicative, thorough, thoughtful and transparent. He very much looked after my search, checked in regularly, made sure I was made incredibly aware of all nuances of UK housing (I'm coming from the states), and vetted property on my behalf, making sure that the time we spent viewing was actually well spent. He was available at all times to answer my questions and put me at ease in the rental process. I will be using them for my next search, and recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free experience (I'd go as far to say completely enjoyable!)

GoogleChestertons sold a house for me in Barnsbury in one of the most difficult markets in living memory. I initially went with one of the most established and highly respected agents in Islington, they proved to be so ineffective, without drive or any type of creativity. I honestly thought the market was dead, I did my research and found that Chestertons had by far the largest success rate. It was a revelation, they were so dynamic and resourceful, always giving me the feeling that they were looking after my interests and ultimately guiding me very skilfully to a sale. The sales team, headed by Scott Abrahams can be totally recommended, I am now instructing them with a couple of my other properties. Thank You!!

Very poor experience. Bradley Jenkins, the agent, is solely concerned with signing the deal but not interested in assisting in any way after the move in. The day we moved in, the property had not been cleaned, the furniture we agreed to was not all there, and to top it off, there was no hot water. When I called Bradley to ask for assistance he basically said it wasn't his problem any more.

GoogleWe have been dealing with Chesterton for a while and through a couple of unfortunate aborted sales and they have been extraordinarily patient, supportive and professional. We have just been informed that contracts have been finally exchanged on a very tricky sale and Guy Morgan who dealt with it has been impressive throughout. We are now with Dean Tomlison for an important purchase and he has been a gem throughout the search and initial negotiation process - I hope I do not get disappointed later on! But I can safely recommend the agency as a whole - they are very experienced and consistently generous with time and advice. You get the feeling they are still passionate about their job and this clearly makes a difference.

GoogleAmazing agency! Our flat had been on the market for 2 years with two other agencies with not much happening. We decided to change agent and try Chestertons. After one week only on the market we had 3 competing offers and one week later we accepter one of the offers that was well above the asking price. Chestertons guys were so helpful all along the way, so dynamic, available and guided us very well across the 3 different offers. I would definitely use them again in the future. This agency is just amazing!!

GoogleWe have interacted many times with Chestertons Islington over the past 2 years and have always been very happy with them. As buyers looking to upgrade, we visited many properties in N1/N5 and always felt that Chestertons were much better than the competition. We dealt with the same person throughout (Scott), who was always punctual, knowledgeable and clearly had proper insight in both the local market and the dynamics around the properties we were visiting. We actually almost purchased a property through them last year, only to be derailed by Brexit just before exchange. Shortly after upgrading this summer, we contacted Scott again for the sale of our flat in Angel. Despite higher fees, we decided to go with Scott because of his genuine conviction in the quality of our property and his credible advice around strategy. It turned out to be the right choice, because we managed to sell our property quickly and at an attractive price from our perspective. The Chestertons team (both Scott and Dean) did a great job throughout, were very committed and always gave us good advice. All in all, we strongly recommend Chestertons to both buyers and sellers in Islington.

Within a few days I had viewings and received excellent and very useful feedback from my contacts. Just 2 days later I had an offer that I could accept and my sale proceeded with the excellent help of Guy Morgan. Guy has done a splendid job for me and my buyers keeping us informed at all times and ensuring that all our needs were successfully met. Awful agency with zero regard for tenants privacy, rights, or common courtesy. Extremely negative experience with them. Avoid at all costs. I would never consider them to purchase a house after their complete disregard for customer service to tenants.

Very bad experience with this agency. They promise the moon, but once you've signed with them is it the complete opposite, and they'll simply ignore you when you need them.
