We are moving from the USA to the UK and enlisted Chesterton’s help to find a flat to let. We dealt with several branches & agents, but by far the most helpful was Shannon Kearns. She showed us more properties than all the other agents combined! More importantly, she took the time to educate us about the area throughout the day. We could tell she really has her customers’ best interests at heart and was assertive without ever being pushy. We would work together with her in the future without hesitation.

I have been consistently misled by the local office that looks after Barnes and Mortlake over several years. Originally it was attributed to a turnover in staff and the problem was so big we naturally gave the time to resolve. However, our patience was misplaced. 10s of visits, emails, and meetings, and two years later, still nothing has been done. They have done a professional job of obfuscation and created the illusion of service. However, quotes have been lost, very few follow-up calls, and communication by omission and many, many quotes have been arranged, keeping us busy and under the impression, something was happening, but nothing.

GoogleGood service until completion - then I was given keys which do not work for the flat I purchased + I discovered incorrect items on the listing and contents form after moving in, which I reported to them and received no reply about the matter (cost over £1,000 to rectify). They have a ludicrous policy of not allowing viewings until exchange after an offer is accepted which allows this sort of abuse to take place. Be warned!

YellPolice called on Customer
Chestertons Global is my property managers and by default my landlords. I have been in awaitng a reply from them for an issue that has not been responded to for weeks/months (can provide the email trail), as well as their phone lines always go to voicemail. I finally got frustrated and decided to go visit their offices. and decided to wait in their reception for a call from them. 20 minutes later I did get the phone call from the person I was expecting and I decided to take the call. It is then that I was then asked to leave the office premises without any reason by their manager David Manning. Iinformed them that I was on a call with their employee but before any of that could happen I was told that if I didn't leave the police will be called on me. Before I ended the call, I realised that the manager had already made calls to call the Police whilst still giving no reason for me to leave.

GoogleChestertons did a fantastic job in selling my flat. They sold it for full asking price where other agents could not. During the period before a sale was agreed, the viewings were well organised and good constructive feedback was always provided. Once the sale was agreed, the agent (Will) did a great job with following up with the solicitors as well as with myself and the buyer and actively chased up lose ends to see the sale through to completion. All done during a very stressful and uncertain time. Big thank you to Will, Scott and the team. When looking to buy/sell in the future I will definitely consider Chestertons before their competitors.
