I had a viewing appointment for a rental property with their office at 40 Connaught Street at 13:00 on 03/10/2024.The agent arrived late and made a phone call to find me even though I was the only one standing in front of the property. She did not even bother to apologise for being late and snapped at me saying that it took her to find a parking space and she did not provide any proper viewing experience because she was too busy sulking. I find her attitude very unprofessional and unpleasant.Note: No response is required from Chestertons as all you do is to disclose my personal information here; I had to repost this.. In addition to your poor service, you do not appear to have any consideration about how this review system works. Shame on you,

GoogleEDIT: I have since sold the flat, and for the full circle effect ended up with the same estate agent (Guy). He was very professional and kept frequent communication. Though the sale was delayed, his persistance in seeking a positive resolution and balancing the nerves of a sale was VERY helpful. Thank you Guy! Nov 2018 I have dealt with Chestertons Islington over the last 6 months. My estate agent (Guy) was great at getting things moving and being on top of everything (and everyone), which is always a big obstacle in this flat hunting industry. He also went above and beyond in remaining available to reach, even on his days off. In fact, when my estate agent was unavailable, I had the pleasure to speak with Graham, then James who were both fully briefed on the application and smoothly worked together as a team. A cohesive team, with professional individuals who get the job done.

GoogleThe whole Chesterton’s team were great! After meeting with 4 agencies for letting out our Kings Cross flat, we chose to go with Ryan and team at Chesterton’s. They gave us confidence with their data and excellent responsiveness. We did not regret the decision and found long-term tenants quickly 😊. Aylin from the viewings team had huge enthusiasm, bias for action and even helped us with an inventory management recommendation Shelbee in the office was so helpful and responsive… honestly the whole team were great and considering the service, speed and quality of tenants found, the fees seem very reasonable on reflection. Would highly recommend them.

Highly recommend Gary and his team at Chestertons! They put up our house in the rental market, helped us find the best tenancy deal and now manage the property. We’ve rented our house out for 3 months now and we’ve never had to worry. The Chesterton team is very efficient in dealing with any issues from our tenants and we’ve had a stress free experience working with them. Highly recommend!

GoogleA trusted professional contact advised us to look at chestertons in islington as they had heard from several clients they had an excellent track record for selling houses in the area. We invited them to view our property and noted very early on that they where very good and stood out from the crowd particularly at communicating forthcoming viewings some times agents don’t even tell you about viewings you have to chase them. Graham the manager of the branch made a great first impression with us both what he said his team would do and what we could expect from Chestertons. Will from the team who found our buyers was excellent on his communication with us always keeping us updated with what was going on at every stage. This continued through out the selling process his advice and professionalism stood out from the crowd. He genuinely loved the house and this was evident as this was a strong and effective start when showing the house. When he came to us with the offer he helped manage both parties to a successful completion. We where due to embark on a long planned holiday on the other side of the world. Not once did we have to chase Will for updates or feed back. We would highly recommend the Chestertons Islington team and of course if your lucky to get Will then you won’t be disappointed! They seemed keen and helpful when they wanted to win the letting from my existing agent. But in retrospect if was just being pushy. When the letting was near completion with the other agent they got an offer and piled a lot of pressure on me to accept their one - multiple calls and emails etc. from different agents on their team. Big let down once I made clear I was sticking to the offer I had already accepted - they refused to return the keys that they could not wait to collect a couple of weeks earlier. The said I could collect them but as I don't even live in the same city and was happy to have them posted this seemed a bit of a turnaround. A shoddy little piece of poor customer service that leaves a bad taste.
