Rosie was super helpful and patient. She’s also responsible and I enjoyed my time with her at chestertons. We found a lovely 3-bed flat. At the beginning there are some small issues but it solved pretty quickly and all the staff are super supportive and helpful.

I have two flats in Surbiton which are rented out. New management took over during the year. I am pleased to say that Niema Latif, as part of the new mangement team, handled the changeover well and was responsible for the successful renewal of both tenancies with increased rents based on RPI increases. Niema gave me confidence in her ability and quick response to all emails and requests.

Renting with Chesterton's has been the most stressful, dishonest, greedy soul-sucking housing experience of my life. They have been extremely uncooperative and maintained fraudulent stances in order to line their pockets despite being presented with extremely clear cut evidence. They have consistently refused to respond to communications, and have ignored official complaints made to their customer service department. I truly have nothing kind to say about this experience and hope somebody reads this and saves themselves a few years of stress and several grand in rent. Take your business elsewhere.edit: a week later and still no responses despite following up with numerous people. disappointed, but not surprised.
26th July 2024:Hi Bea, thank you for providing your details. We have since been in touch with the Property Management team to investigate further. We can see that your complaint has been responded to and you have been provided with details of how to escalate this further if you would like to. As outlined in our response, Chestertons role was to manage the tenancy and in this instance, the issues related to the building overall. The Landlady has offered you compensation for the inconvenience which affected the initial days of your tenancy in October but we understand that you have rejected this offer. We are sorry again that you experienced these problems and we are happy to help if you need further advice to pursue this matter further.3rd July 2024:Hi Bea, we're really sorry to see you have left this review. You should have received an invitation from Trustpilot to provide further details. If you could please complete this at your earliest convenience, we would like to investigate this further for you.

I found the individuals professional, courteous and efficient. In particular, Jack was quick to view the property, understood up to the minute market conditions and offered a useful appraisal and plan for let. Over to Charlie, he is a fine negotiator, highly responsive, a "get it done" positive and effective communicator. Chestertons have fine representatives and assets in these particular representatives.

Tamara was very flexible in making virtual meetings work, as I do not currently live in the area. My property manager Vanessa (Battersea) has been very attentive, quick to respond to queries and take action on my behalf. There have been a couple of occasions over the last couple of years where things have not moved as quickly as my tenants or I would have liked, but since Vanessa took over it has been smooth. I would also add that some of the fees are a little steep, but I understand that this is the business model.

I have been with Chestertons for over 2 years now. I must admit that the initial experience was quite disappointing given that our property manager was unresponsive and not keen to help. However, for the last year we have had a new property manager named Joyce Pau who's been absolutely wonderful and very efficient when it came to sorting out a problem - definitely made the experience with this company much smoother and on the whole more pleasant!

GoogleI've just exchanged contracts on the sale of my house through Chestertons acting as sole agent. Although their fees aren't the lowest in the area, they are more than justified by their performance. Scott set an ambitious target for the listing and the achieved price was above asking price. I'm much better off financially than if I'd gone with one of the '1% er’ agents in the area. The time from listing to offer accepted was an impressive 13 days! Scott provided oversight throughout and Will did a great job finding a quality buyer, negotiating and proactively managing the whole process through to exchange of contracts. Chestertons set high expectations and over-delivered; highly recommended.
