FacebookTaking of advantage an 87 year old woman and lady in wheelchair who cannot speak…refusing deposit for ‘removal of items’ when I have video evidence of my father and brother in law carrying sofas and wardrobes out of the property and down 5 flights of stairs. My father’s blood pressure was so high afterwards that he was hospitalised as result. However, a day after he was discharged he painted your property whilst my sister thoroughly cleaned the flat. Please explain why you require funds to remove a talking Santa, the only item that we regrettably left behind.

GoogleCalled this company to arrange a viewing for a rental property in Irvine. We travelled down from Aberdeen specifically and were shown round property. Agent said to call him later that day with a decision if we wanted to be considered for property. Called back that afternoon and said we would like to go ahead. He said he would speak to owner and get back next day. Still waiting 3 days later. If we were not suitable it would have been common courtesy to just say so.

GoogleHighly recommend! From the very beginning of my house sale & purchase the full Lomond team were fantastic. We were made to feel like the team were in it with us, answering all questions, fully understanding our position, guiding us through, looking at our best interests; the knowledge they have is second to none and there’s no coincidence they are top! By the end of the process I felt like they were my friends and would definitely use them again!

GoogleVery professional and friendly from start to finish. First time selling our house. Sold in a few days which was fantastic. Joe was very helpful and made sure all the marketing was spot on. Fiona in the office has been so helpful and nothing is any bother to her she is genuinely happy to help with the sale of ours and also helping us find a new home. Reasonably priced service and we would highly recommend to anyone thinking of selling. *****

FacebookWould never recommend Lomond, have used them in the past for renting my property and had attitude from staff and told what do you want me to do that your tenants not paying rent. Went to view a property last night and tried to offer this morning on the property to be told I’m not allowed to offer on it as others have put notes of interest on this property…NOT AN OFFER. Been told me offers been rejected and asked to better it. I’d rather give my hard earned money to people who don’t speak to me how I was spoken to by Fiona this morning. Absolutely appalled by the service. I’d say take your money elsewhere.

Hi DaniellaThank you for getting in touch. Fiona at our Irvine office explained this morning that the property in question had received a lot of interest, with a number of parties officially noting interest prior to submitting offers. The property owner is overseas and we were awaiting his instructions on setting a closing date. The offer you submitted was presented to the property owner, given the volume of interest in the property the owner chose to set a closing date. All interested parties were then notified and asked to submit their best and final offers. We expect to have a final decision from our client tomorrow and will update all parties at this time. GoogleDidn’t bother to call back when asked to respond to a deadline, then when we called them back to ask what was happening, we got playground excuses why they didn't call. We expected a professional service and honesty, but Joe didn’t deliver any of these, this is the third time Lomond have been poor with us, last time being when they didn’t bother to turn-up to a house viewing appointment a few years ago and left us sitting outside in the car waiting till we called to find out they weren’t coming. 🤷♂️NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

On the day in question, where a deadline had been set by yourself I called you on two occasions, the first call around late morning, and another towards close of business. Both calls you will remember were courtesy calls to make you aware that my client had been unable to speak to her family and solicitor and was therefore not in a position to give you an answer at this time. The “playground excuses” you refer to were in actual fact the truth and the current position of the client Lomond were representing. I have made my client fully aware of this review and my reply. GoogleWithin one week of the flat being put on the market we went to a closing date and the property was sold at a higher than expected price. Lomond produced a very effective on-line walk-through presentation which really helped to attract buyers and to achieve very quick results. The staff were very pleasant, professional and helpful, not only in selling this property but also during the search for our new property, On one visit we said that we wanted to look in the roof-space but there was no loft-ladder available. No problem for Lomond, the agent turned up with a step-ladder which she brought from her own home. We were very pleased with their performance. GooglePhenomenal service throughout the sale of our house. Joe gave us a great valuation for the house and a fair commission rate. Our property was marketed with the photos of the property displaying its potential. Even though we listed our house just before 'Lockdown', the team at Lomond did not stop and secured enough serious interest that when viewings were 'allowed' again, the house sale was concluded swiftly with an amazing offer. The whole process was ran smoothly with the help of Fiona and Claire in the office. I would recommend going into the office on Bank Street.
