Regarding my partner's house....Current and ongoing situation.... Electricty has been cutting out for 48 hours... Been told since 2022 the work needs done, was told by Sandy it had passed its electrical inspection, only to be told it hasn't ( by the company they said passed the inspection ) and are currently here waiting to start. Been told off 4 contractors the house needs completely rewired but the owners of the property won't get it done, and Sandy, won't answer to sort this even though he is the out of hours contact. They can't be bothered fixing something and it has left my partner in a serious state of distress over the safety of our 5 kids. This may get an answer from them, but this is so they know as of now I'm taking it the legal route and going to the papers and ombudsman, regardless of getting this fixed. Edit : after so called repairs were completed AGAIN , the power has once again cut out on us, which I said would happen when they put a temporary fix on things, then lie to the council and newspaper saying problems are all fixed... Situation ongoing, left without power for the third night in a row, because the emergency electrician ( ELES ) won't touch it, so having to use day time contractor

Not impressed at all. Valuer majorly undervalued (by 30K) the lovely 3 bed family property we were looking to sell , with him.immediately saying buy to let & (unnecessarily) advising us to empty cupboards & remove fridge magnets! in spite of me pointing out the selling features of the house , large rooms, dining area, quiet cul de sac, three separate outside garden / seating areas, private lock up, across the road from school, main bus route etc, this was of no interest to hum. Needless to say we went with another local company & the house was sold within 2 weeks of going on to the. Market to a young family. We rreceived 5% over the asking price which was 30k more than price quoted by Lomomd.

My experience with both selling and buying with Lomond is second to none, Joe made my home (when I was selling) look like a million dollars with the great photos he took,that I then really didn't want to sell, Clare and Fiona made everything else so easy, setting up viewers for me, keeping me in touch with what was going on and having a real feel good,positive attitude to what for me was a very traumatic time in my life. Extorting money from my grandmother and auntie who are both severely disabled. Absolutely disgusting will be taking legal action to retrieve deposit owed to them. Not how I expect a company to treat vulnerable customers. Landlord is clearly greedy and the estate agents lack morals.
