As a purchaser I was lead to believe the seller had a strict deadline after which they wouldn't sell. The agent harassed us with daily calls and emails and we worked in good faith and quite hard to make sure we were ready. When our solicitor informed the other party with the required 3 days notice, it transpired that the seller's solicitor had not been made aware of this "deadline" and as a consequence wasn't prepared for the transaction. Turned out that the seller was fine with completing after the deadline and we still bought the house. This was either a huge failure in communication between the agent and her client or at the worst an intentional deceit to sell faster. I was purchasing other properties with this branch and I stopped answering their calls, we communicated through the solicitor and completed fine without the agent interference.

GoogleI’m so pleased we chose Michael Poole in Ingleby Barwick to help us sell our home. In the end we ended up selling with them and buying our next home through them. When I am selling a home I want to build a relationship with people I can trust and who communicate excellently. This is exactly what you will get from Karen and Rachel. I would certainly recommend them on the basis of my very positive experience. Derek the valuer was also brilliant, giving us realistic advice on pricing and sale strategies which really delivered for us. Many thanks to all!

GoogleVery happy with the service Michael Poole has provided whilst selling our house. Very professional from our first valuation meeting with Ian through to ongoing contact with Sam and Matthew. The photos they took of our home and the write up led to us having a high number of viewings quickly and we had an offer within two weeks of putting it up for sale. Sam has constantly kept us up to date as our sale has progressed including updates from our solicitors before us. I would highly recommend Michael Poole to other people wanting to sell their home. Very responsive, approachable and professional.

GoogleVery disappointed with Valpal, little or no leads from the Valpal tool, very few leads from the facebook marketing. Certainly can't get their accounting correct as Incorrect invoicing issued and money taken by direct debit. Extremely poor communication and contact from the Valpal team, I had to chase them. Valpal tie you into a 12 month contract which autorenews, fortunately, I have given notice but I am still paying for a product which I don't use. I wish that Google would allow 0 stars or have negative ratings!

GoogleGreat service from both Sam and Sahara, really helped me from start to finish and even continued to look after me after implementation. As for the product itself It does what it says on the tin, just make sure you take the advice given to you with wording and marketing - I received 5 valuation leads in my first two days. Remember that the tool is only useful if people are seeing it :) I've now put most of my ad spend into ValPal - looking forward to seeing what comes of the leads!

FacebookJust wanted to give Vicki Phelps in particular, (and also a mention to Victoria Wood as well for rushing her curried noodles to come out to see me!) a well deserved 5 stars for the time and sheer effort she's put into selling my home for me. She keeps me posted on things when she's not even at work, when she's in bed and it's 11pm at night, if she's dealing with her kids and probably even emails me while she's in the shower!!!! Absolutely full of personality, bubbly and a wonderful dedicated member of staff! I've also got to mention Victoria in this too, absolutely lovely lady who is so polite and friendly and goes out of her way to help and accommodate. Both an absolute credit to your company and I truly wouldn't recommend any other estate agent xx
