GoogleI had an outstanding experience with the team at Brian Thomas. Their communication was exceptional, always prompt, clear, and proactive in keeping me informed at every stage. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and their genuine commitment to ensuring my satisfaction, not just closing a deal. The entire process felt seamless, from property viewings to finalizing contracts. Thank you and see you again, in the not-so distant future!

Trustpilotexcellent experience at Brian Thomas
I had an excellent experience working with Amaal at Brian Thomas in East London. He and his team were professional, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process. From the initial viewing to signing the paperwork, everything was handled efficiently and with clear communication. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and helped me find the perfect property that matched my needs. I felt supported throughout the entire process, and I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to rent, buy, or sell in East London.

I will not suggest anyone go through this company. We had an offer accepted by the seller through this company and when we had our mortgage done and solicitors were working on the case, all of a sudden we heard that seller was not willing to sell the property for medical reasons, But when i checked on the right move after a couple of days the property was tagged as “Sold STC” . I am highly convinced that this was planned and executed by the Managing Director of Brian Thomas Amaal Khan (who is also the owner of the company). Amaal khan was not even courteous enough to tell us about the seller not willing to sell. I will never recommend anyone working with Amaal Khan, he will lock the deal with you and in the buying process if someone offers him more he will get you out of deal in no time.

TrustpilotHighly professional, proactive and patient
Brian Thomas Estate Agents sourced a buyer for our property within a month of it being on the market. They’ve been highly reliable, proactive and professional throughout despite the buyer and the solicitor being extremely difficult characters to work with. We’re very grateful for all the support they’ve provided throughout the process. Highly recommend!

GoogleMy partner and I recently bought a flat through Brian Thomas and it wouldn't have been possible if the Agent who dealt with our case, Amaal, hadn't been on top of it. He sent us a reminder asking us if we were still interested when we had forgotten about the property. Then he was always chasing all parts when needed to facilitate the exchange of information. It was easy to deal with him and easy to get in touch with.
Thank you Julian and best of luck with your new chapter!

TrustpilotWell done Amaal!
Amaal impressed from the beginning when we first met for a valuation for probate. We then met again two years later to sell the property. He has always delivered on everything he promised. His knowledgeable and people skills are exceptional and we would highly recommend him. Thank you Amaal for all your help and hard work!

GoogleAmaal showed us a property through Brian Thomas as myself and my partner were looking to buy. We put in an offer almost immediately after viewing the property. Amaal talked us through the next process, like getting an agreement in principle as we were new to the process. He helped chased up all parties involved, easy to reach and informative. His hard work enabled us to complete on time and save money on stamp duty.
I appreciate your kind words Patience and best of luck with your new chapter!

GoogleIts official Brian Thomas estate agents broke the law! After two years of harassing my mother and I Brian Thomas’ claim for fees has been thrown out of court on three counts. It was proved that they broke the law in not including a 14 day cooling off period in their contracts and thus the contract was shown to be invalid. Amal and Anis from Brian Thomas were shown in court (in their absence) to be incompetent and more importantly liars unfit to run an estate agency bound by the Property Ombudsman code of practice. Do not trust this estate agent with your money or your property. Previous review Without doubt the worst experience I have ever had with an estate agent. I was subjected to rude, controlling and wholly unprofessional behaviour. Most importantly be very careful when signing one of their estate agency agreements as they don’t allow for a 14 day cancellation period which is in breach of consumer law in this country. Also although they are a member of the Property Ombudsman Scheme they flagrantly break the code of practice that they are supposed to adhere too. My advice is steer well clear of this agency.
This is the reply of a conniving and dishonest man who is being taken to court for selling his property PRIVATELY to a buyer introduced by us, in an attempt to avoid agreed commission fees. A man who thinks he is too clever for his own good. Having sold Ian's property within two weeks of listing it on the market, Ian though it was a smart idea to try and withdraw from selling with us and to sell privately to our client who was introduced by us, in order to save money on fees. Having thereafter confirmed via Land Registry that is was indeed our client whom Ian had sold to privately, our legal team had contacted Ian to inform his that, as mentioned in the contract, he would be liable to paid the owed commission agreed, as he has sold to a client introduced to him by us during our agreement terms. Ian had initially replied to our legal team offering a £2000 settlement, which was rejected and the case continues. As trusted members of The Property Ombudsman, we shall see you in court Ian.

GoogleAbsolutely terrible! I don't even know where to begin with how awful this letting agency really is. They are rude, unhelpful and nefarious. From my experience they are simply money-grabbing crooks, being knowingly uncooperative and even deceitful. They have often pretended not to have any knowledge of issues you have tired on numerous occasions to contact them about, promising to get in touch, and then consistently failing to do so. They have often lied directly to us and ultimately cost us lots of time and money sorting out issues which should have been extremely painless. I am not sure if they are just mentally deficient or positively malicious - BUT DO NOT RENT FROM THESE GUYS!
Hi Sam, we believe this review was not intended for this particular Brian Thomas Estate Agents, based in Ilford, Essex. We would greatly appreciate it if you were to remove this review and post it on the actual agents you refer to. Many Thanks. Its a shame you had to go through that experience Sam. However, although we have a similar company name and are based on a very similar road, it seems you are referring to a different Brianthomas located in a completely different area. If you had rented from THIS Brianthomas Estate Agents based in Ilford, Essex, IG3, i could have ensured you were treated with respect and in a professional manner. Having been established for over 35 years, we have earned a praiseworthy reputation for assuring customer satisfaction and aim to continue this trend for many years to come.

GoogleVery unprofessional service I wouldn’t recommended any seller to use their services. My experiences as a buyer as been really poor with the following company I put down an offer on a property and chased them for a response every week without fail I was always told the person dealing with the property is not in the office and will get back to you it’s been over a month still no response.
With that username and the fake email address you use, we suggest that you spend your time more wisely - rather than leaving fake reviews for honest businesses. We take pride of our highly professional levels of communication and if you wish to share the property in question, when you had submitted the offer and when you 'made calls every week' , we will be more than happy to prove you wrong. I would usually end by telling you to have a Happy New Year, but i do not wish happiness for fake people and schemers.
