Unfit to operate in their sector.

This agency is utterly useless, bordering on negligent. I have had zero heating in my rented flat for 4 years, coupled with a serious damp and mould issue. The windows are rotten to the extent there is no sealant and you can literally put your finger through the gaps in the corners. I have reported this time and time again with photos and videos and have been met with complete apathy every time. The last year working from home in this flat has been unbearable. I have had various tradespeople agree it is dangerous and hazardous to health yet never had a single visit from Brand Vaughn. Until i submitted my notice to move out last month that is. Since then I have had various emails phone calls and visits, purely to ensure they can rerent the property to the next unsuspecting sucker. The bottom line is they care about nothing but the bottom line and have zero regard for your health and safety.

Beyond useless

Beyond useless! Poor communication throughout the lettings process and just abysmal at finding suitable and reliable tenants. The main priority would appear to get anyone in, regardless how their references stack up, and get you on their books and start charging you a handling fee. I've now last eight months rent (and counting) due to their ineptitude in sourcing tenants who can actually pay. On top of this, they're an absolute nightmare to deal with and I've been pushed around from pillar to post on just about everything. The only time they are quick off the mark is when they can bill you for something and presumably take their cut. Avoid.

One of the most unhelpful lettings agents with the rudest staff. Called up showing interest in a property and the staff member on the other side of the phone was rude, unhelpful and sounded like they quite frankly couldn't be bothered. Was promised a video tour to be sent through by end of day, let's say I'm not suprised it never came through. Glad I checked reviews after my bad experience and can now stay fully clear of them.

Don't bother looking at their website…

Don't bother looking at their website for properties for sale as virtually none of them are available. We spent a whole evening looking at their website, looking at properties that were apparently available, spending time google mapping & google earth etc, making notes. We emailed to view 8 properties. Only 1 was available to view. Extremely frustrating. Other estate agents are more honest & put 'Sold STC' or 'Under Offer'. It would seem that they want it to appear that they have lots of properties on their books when the reality is they don't. I was advised by Brand Vaughn that it's a problem with their website - I really do not think this is the case. Then another member of staff informed me it was their policy to only apply 'sold' etc when contracts have been exchanged. Ridiculous because the property is not available once the offer has been made & accepted.

Amazing service

Having just dealt with three purchases and sales all with different estate agents, I feel I'm qualified to comment on the service provided by each. By far the most stress free and pleasant experience was with Mishon Mackay Kemptown. All the staff go above and beyond to make the whole experience as calm and positive as possible, in what is usually a very stressful process. If I ever need to buy or sell a property again, I know which agency I will be using. Can't recommend them enough

Great service from Jay

Great service from Jay, I was nervous as we were in the middle of lockdown but it was all seamless and our tenants are really happy. We used the introduction only service and it was so easy. We were sent updates on viewings and once our current tenants had viewed and made an offer, the process was all done quickly and with no problems. They moved in 4 weeks later. We will definitely use Jay and Mishon Mackay again.

Very bad agents. We was falsely informed about a property been told we would be suitable, went to view it was met by stuck up woman who looked us up and down and looked down her nose at us, she asked had we questions we had 3 and she knew answer to none.Filled in application and ready to pay holding fee, guy phonedfor card details and said what was name of guarentor and told him we had already been thru all this with office bird, he replied so you've no guarentor I said no he hung up on me. Wrote a complaint to their head office and got no reply. Why are workers in estate agents all stuck up and rude ? In their shiny suits and turned up shoes.
