Had to give one star when wanted to give a zero.Sharman Quinney is a company to avoid at any cost.This estate agents sign you up for a 6 months contract when other agencies sign you upfor 3months.There is a 14 day cooling off periodwhich is law.For those 2 weeks there were numerous viewings and an offer which was accepted then after the 14 days the offer fell through as the buyers could apparently not get a mortgage.After that you are in a 6 month contract then the viewings were few and far between.when you chased them to ask them why it hasn’t sold when other houses in your street were sold with other agencies the lies then started and when the 6 months contract was almost at an end and you told them you would not be renewing it, the property had miraculously sold for considerable less than asking price.months after there was no completion date in sight and endless excuses l removed it off the market.

GoogleJust purchased our first home via Sharman Quinney. Great service, would certainly use them again. Throughout the process we were looked after by Carrigan & Elaine, they were always available to assist and were quick to keep us updated and answer any questions/requests we had. The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is the solicitors that are part of the package via Sharman Quinney. Whilst we did not use them, our seller did and we found that they were unresponsive and there were long periods where our solicitors and Sharman Quinney estate agents were chasing them for updates.

GoogleThe sale of our house was delayed time and time again due to our buyers’ awful choice of conveyancers. This caused no end of stress, especially during the latter stages of the process. Lauren and the rest of the team worked extremely hard, often on hold to the conveyancers for well over an hour at a time to try to get us answers. This was very much appreciated and I can see the hard work that went in to try to put my mind at rest. Response time to emails is very quick at SQ and I would not hesitate in using them again.

FacebookAs a landlord who has recently had her fingers burnt from a tenant's behaviour and condition they left my property in, I was more than apprehensive about anyone else renting the house and very distrusting. Lucy put all my concerns as a top priority, kept me updated regularly, understood my worries and as a result of her 5 star customer service, I now have a fabulous tenant. I can't speak highly enough of Lucy's help and the service she provided. Her patience knows no bounds! Highly recommend Lucy if you're looking for someone who works with you, supports you and doesn't put any old tenant in your property. Thank you Lucy for being such a star.

I had to give it 1 star as you can’t write a review otherwise, so in reality I give them 0 stars!! This company is an absolute sham!! Since the 10th July 2024 my elderly farther has been without hot water and heating, he is boiling pans and the kettle to wash his pots and pans, and carrying boiling water upstairs so he can have some kind of a wash!!! This is absolutely ridiculous disgusting and unacceptable, this company don’t give a fig, all you get is ‘oh, I’ve only just been given this case’ or ‘we are trying to contact the landlord’, this is utter rubbish.Duty of care, none existent !! If you are a landlord I advise you stay away from this farse of a company and seeking renting or selling elsewhere, if you were looking to rent or buy, forget it, stay as far away from this …( I can’t even call it a company)… array of people that do or don’t answer phones or emails under the name of sharman Quinny. My 0 stars stands firm! Avoid at all costs.

GoogleI have had nothing but excellent service from Laura Beard (Mortgage Advisor), she is proactive, professional and personable. She kept regular communication throughout the whole process and was proactive with every step. The SQ Home Conveyancing team on the other hand were nothing short of terrible, I would not recommend their service to anybody (not replying to emails, required constant chasing, left everything to the last minute, constant errors). Their service made Laura shine and I am very grateful for her work.PositiveProfessionalism

FacebookToday I was amased. Feedback from a viewing of my property was "it is a lovely property, but because it has no garage, it's not what I want". But what is so tragic about the 8 months that SQ had my property on their books and a handful of viewings, is that this was the most responsive of all. And what was Amazing about this? SQ description of the property "there is also a garage in a block with power and light with an electric up and over door"

I wouldn’t give them a star. Service for rental appalling. No communication no reports sent till end of tenancy. House was left disgusting. They didn’t do reports or follow up on anything. Jay sat on mobile all time while Valentino made excuses for everything they got paid to manage!!!! JOKE

The fact that you now appear to have no record of dealing with me does not surprise me in the least, as we spent 10 months trying to persuade you to include both sellers of the property in any and all communications. I was the one you did manage to communicate with - I do however realise it is a challenge to cc the joint seller in on all emails (that is sarcasm by the way) - it just shows the level of incompetency or, more likely, lack of concern. Now you appear to have no record of someone that has just paid £420 for zero professional service on what was supposed to be a no sale no fee package. GoogleI am a mortgage advisor, and so, professionally, i must deal with quite a few agents. I also went through, personally, over 40 properties in all my life, residential and buy to let, and i think this make me quite an expert in this trade. I really don't have any doubt in saying that Sharman Quinney has been one of the best experiences i had till now. Not just professionalism but also deep personal commitment from any single member of staff. GoogleFor ongoing health reasons (of which I was unaware), I withdrew my bungalow., reluctantly from the market and asked for an invoice to pay 'sales package costs' . This was done and payment by transfer is imminent. Throughout, everyone has behaved properly except no agents were available for any of the several viewings, including the buyer.
