Lauryn-Mai has been the best! She is super friendly and helpful, she calls back when she says she will, she emails when she says she will, and is a credit to the lettings team at the Huddersfield branch. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and even if things have been difficult she has never been anything other than professional. I wish more of my dealings were with people and companies like this.

One of the worst unprofessional estate agents ever.. AVOID!!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! Will book you in for a viewing to sell a property. Will make you wait and never turn up. Dont have the decency to tell you not coming. When you ring them to find out whats going on they haven't got a clue. I Asked to speak to the manager and the staff call him or her a "it" you get the answer "its" not available. How rude and sad for the manager. Would not recommend to even call them...

we placed offer on a house that was accepted only to find out that another offer was taken which is fine, because you couldn't get hold of me via phone to tell me you went to the other offer without even sending a email. so then the same house came back on to the market and not one person as come back to us asking if we are still interested. sorry but that is very poor customer service - and I wonder if the seller knew how your dealing with the sale of there house?

I can see a few positive reviews about the sales team at William H Brown, but unfortunately our experience with the Lettings team has been nothing but stressful. We had a long application process due to needing a guarantor which was fine, but at each obstacle we faced throughout the application process, we couldn’t get hold of anyone from William H Brown - the only they contacted us, and promptly, was to take payment for the holding deposit, the deposit and the rent payment. I have sent them numerous emails and called them three times about issues with our property or the issues we had with our application, and to be able to speak to them we had to physically go into the office every week. We have four issues with our properties, one being that our front and back door locks don’t work, so when we leave the house, we have to leave all of our doors unlocked, our bathroom door doesn’t have a handle and our monitors haven’t been installed yet - despite the fact the landlord has paid for them two months ago. Our Lettings sign is still up after two months too. I’m living in a two bedroom property, paying £875.00 per month as well as the landlord who is paying William H Brown to maintain her property, and I have never received such poor customer service from a company who is quite happy to take your money in seconds. We will be looking for another house with another company despite our contract, £875.00 I’m not really sure what we’re paying for. As an estate agent myself, the communication and customer service from this company is the worst I’ve seen. We’ve been so patient for the last three months, and they still choose to ignore us.

Initially, I was disappointed with the advertisement of our property and found it difficult to get through to WHB on the phone to get an update. I was also disappointed that we had to do the home viewings ourselves, being a first time seller I was confused what exactly we were paying 2K for. However, we have had a really long exchange process ( no fault of WHB) and Manveer has really been on it for us. I can imagine I’ve been a nightmare client ringing most days but over the last few weeks she’s gone above and beyond for me/us chasing the buyer/ solicitors. I’ve been really impressed with the way it’s been handled. Thank you!
