GoogleInitially friendly, the staff were professional and listened to the problems. However it took too long to take action against problems. Before moving into the flat in wood Street studios I was promised that the chairs would be replaced, however they were not untill 4 months in with several emails and calls. A history of "long procedures" which cause great inconvenience.

Martin & Co Huddersfield do not have and have not had a client by the name of 'Brian Allen'. If you would care to contact us using your real name, we would be happy to discuss any concerns you have or issues you may have had. With relation to deposit refunds, all deposit deductions are processed via the 'Deposit Protection Service' where any deductions have to be justified. Martin & Co cannot, and do not, make 'something up and keep it' without evidence. However, we take the care and condition of properties seriously and would only make a claim from a tenants deposit where necessary. Thank you

GoogleLike previous reports initially very charming and accommodating but when help needed with a flooded smelly uninhabitable flat it was slow to arrive and the promised compensation as advised by uni solicitor and agreed with by Martin & CO never renumerated. I would advise to stay away from this company if you want peace of mind with your accommodation.

GoogleStill waiting for a call back after 2 months. Served a section 21 and gave me 2 month notice even though it’s 3 if given after March. Lack of communication. Disgusting never missed a payment or done anything bad yet I’m being thrown out with no explanation. Train your staff! Only decent person there is will..

GoogleWe found our house and rented it through Martin & co and are very pleased with their services, it was an efficient process to complete the tenancy application formalities and staff were very helpful. Once we moved in any problems or repairs were quickly dealt with and any queries we have are answered promptly.

Whilst we always appreciate people taking the time to leave a review or helpful suggestions, we certainly do not appreciate comments such as yours. This individual was advised to use The Property Ombudsman Service, who agreed that Martin & Co did absolutely everything correctly, thus suggesting that the only ‘liar’ in this scenario is the person to leave this review. If the reader of this exchange were to know the entire series of events around your tenancy, I am sure they would not agree with your comments or rating. Serious thought should be given to the libellous nature of your slurs and whether they ought to remain in the public domain Sir. Thank you

I imagine you are upset due to the deposit for the property being requested in full through the Deposit Protection Service to cover the deep cleaning costs required as a result of your tenancy. I disagree that this is unprofessional and quite the opposite in fact.
