GoogleI recently applied to rent a property with Bramley's and feel I was treated no better than s common criminal. Michelle McCarthy delt with our enquiry and to say we became exaperated by her incompetence and poor communication skills is an under statement. Hi Mark, Sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service provided by Bramleys, however due consideration was given to your application and circumstances and unfortunately on this occasion, the application did not meet the landlords requirements. The landlord always has the final decision on a prospective tenant and sometimes there is a delay as the they consider all aspects of an application before giving us their final decision. GoogleMy wife and I bought a house in Farnley Tyas with Bramleys. Being first-timers we'd never done this before and didn't really know what to expect. Samantha Saville dealt with our purchase and made things very easy for us, recommending and arranging solicitors and mortgage brokers etc. From our initial viewing in late April we had moved in by August. Paul was very knowledgeable and unpushy at the valuation and Bethany has been a Super Star during our sale and then the long process afterwards which was held up due to our onward purchase. GoogleThis company has cost me serious money,Under valued my commercial property ,got things wrong in the valuation report and said the sale was plus vat at (£80k in vat)when it wasn’t, plus loads of other things, what a complete mistake it was for me instructing them in doing the valuation. I’ve now had to pay for another company to another valuation at around £1200 a time its not on - DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

They are pretty good at repairs and maintenance but unfortunately, they keep putting up the rent and my income is not going up to keep up with it as I am a pensioner and I have arthritis and other problems which is costing me more than the average person to cope with so this is causing me extreme anxiety, depression and worry. I am already having to cut down on food and heating costs. If things get worse I am wring to all the newspapers, MPs etc. Update: Recent roof leak, the guy said he would come back to put up an emergency covering but that never happened on Saturday, its Monday and still no cover. No answer to phone calls.

GoogleBramleys provided a rapid. quality service to market and sell our unoccupied former rental property - getting the property to market rapidly in the context of an approaching double bank holiday Platinum Jubillee. The property was on the market within 7 working days of initial contact. Bramleys were flexible in adapting the initial valuation to match our own assessment of value. The property was sold for £16k above the asking price 8 days after being marketed after many viewings had been conducted by Bramleys with no involvement in hosting viewings by us - even over a weekend. Completion did not take place until 5 months after the offer was made but this was due to the buyer not being fully open that there was a need to wait until an early repayment mortgage fee period had lapsed. Bramleys provided regular, clear updates throughout the whole process and accurate guidance about which offer to accept - the buyer paid the price at Completion that they initially offered so we received £16k more than the asking price.

GoogleI have rented a property managed by bramleys for 9 years, I have had a really good renting experience with them. Between them and my landlord any problems in the house were sorted promptly. Had a few boiler issues and was never left long without heating or hot water. All the tradesmen they use were professional, polite and got on to any jobs within a day or so. Routine inspections were done on the property which I think is a good thing for the tenant and the landlord, I got to discuss any issues I had in person and the landlord got to see how the property was kept. All staff I have dealt with at bramleys have all been professional, polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend bramleys. If it wasn't for me needing a bigger house I would have been quite happy to stay put.

Good promotional package explaining everything, realistic pricing and professional presentation of the property on the market. All viewings were attended to, instant feedback and helpful advice throughout the sale. Total liaison with the prospective buyers and when the sale was agreed continued with the conveyancing solicitors. A very stressless experience made possible by their expertise. GoogleWe lived in a flat managed by Bramleys for over a decade and during this time they always acted in a professional and courteous manner. On occasions where we needed their assistance, such as a boiler breakdown, they were great, getting people out to put right the problem usually within the day. I recall one instance where a boiler fault was put right within a couple of hours. Overall we couldn't have asked for more from a letting agent.

GoogleSammi at Bramleys was a fantastic help in my recent house move. I was kept informed constantly in these ever changing time of pander. In fact my completion went really smoothly and surprisingly quickly. In fact I had to rush a little to get out on time. Thanks to all the staff at Bramleys and Sammi in particular.
