GoogleI’m very happy I chose to go with Matthew and Sam at Truemans. They provide excellent service, used a great photographer to showcase my flat and had a fabulous turnaround of viewings. When they suggested an adjustment to the pricing strategy it absolutely worked and I sold at my full asking price. Follow up through to exchange was also attentive and sincere. Not only was he efficient and extremely helpful from the beginning, but he also proved to be incredibly patient and kind to us first time renters, explaining each step of the process clearly and professionally and going above and beyond to make sure we had constant communication and were comfortable each step of the way! He was always quick to reply with any queries we had, and took extra time to explain anything and everything to us at any time of the day, often going out of his way to make us happy each step of the way. GoogleThe best agency I have seen so far. We had a short tenancy at one bedroom flat in Hove. We left the flat in an excellent condition and cleaner than we recieved it. After chekcing out of the property, the agency decided to return us the full deposit. A thing that does not satisfy the landlords normally. The landlord started to act racist and wanted to claim any money she could possibly get from us. She began accusing us for using her bed sheets and linen when we just wanted to wash it for her as they did not smell fresh. It developed further by accusing us for staining a rug which was dirty since the move in and we took to the laundrette to wash it for her. Her awfulness went way far than that. She began accusing us for causing a nick to her credenza which we never used. I have only used it to put some books under which can never cause a nick. This means that the nick was from before and she just wanted to claim money for her previous accident. The top of her dining table monitored to the base using different-sized and unsuitable screws that kept falling off during our tenancy. But since we know how landlords normally are, it is always the tenant who cause damage. When she realised that these things did not help her claiming money, she decided to become Sherlock Holmes by creating some suspicions about having two children living in the flat and and a bed built in the living room that was packed with furniture. Her suspicion did arise from an Avocado toy left behind and a story of the neighbour who saw the children once. "VERY CLEVER". the children live in Reading and they came for visit. A thing that can be proven with a letter from the school or the GP showing where the children live. But as I mentioned before "Very Clever". She used the children as a reason to express her worry about the coming energy bills. We lived in the flat for almost three months. This means that she must have recieved at least one energy bill during our time there. She only decided to express her worry when the deposit is to be returned. Again, a normal thing for landlords. Despite her attempts to claim money and to make us pay for recent her holidays, we got all support from the agency especially from Oliver. In the end we got the whole deposit. I sincerely wish landlord J a better luck with claiming money from tenants next time.
