I'm working with Oliver who put my new buy-to-let property on the rental market the day after I completed the purchase (also with Truemans). I found Oliver extremely personable and straightforward, and trusted him to shortlist potential tenants for me after showing them the flat. There were numerous enquiries and we had 12 viewings the next day, after which I was given a list of the ones he considered most suitable. Oliver has kept in touch with me every step of the way which as a first time property investor I really appreciate. No question has been too much trouble and I know he treats tenants with the same care and respect. My new (ideal) tenant has moved in a week after I picked up keys to the flat, and I'm pleased to be able to provide a beautiful home to rent in Brighton for someone who needs it. My exact intention as an "ethical" landlord. I have just sold the flat that was my own home in Hove with Stephen, Matthew and the team at Truemans. They were super helpful and informative throughout the process, and despite the market downturn, I got a good price for my flat. Matthew was great at keeping the process moving and communicating with solicitors for both parties to ensure we exchanged and completed on time. Thanks again Truemans!

First of all we would like to thank to Oliver Isted and Truemans Estate Agency for helping us find our place during this busy season. We cannot even find words to express our gratitude! It was the time when we were having rough times looking for a place to rent, feeling homesick and even having second thoughts about coming to this country. One of these days we booked a viewing at 94 Ditchling Rise. We were met by Oliver Isted. His easy going and cheerful personality made us feel welcomed from the very first moment for the first time since we were here. He showed us the place and gave detailed information about it and landlord, terms and conditions. Even if it was the first time we met him, maybe because of his sincereness and professionalism we knew we could completely trust him, and the agency he represents. Since the process of documentation, payments and other formalities were transparent, on time and professional, we never had even a tiny doubt about the agency, agent or the house which is to my mind so important for everyone especially foreigners like us who are here for the first time and do not know any local people. Now, we know whom to recommend when our friends ask us to help them find a place to buy or rent! After the documentation, we got the flat, it was cozy, professionally cleaned and refurbished. Because of Oliver’s helpful and considerate efforts we were able to move in earlier than we were supposed to. We have made a contract to stay here for a year. During this stay we surely know we are supported by the Truemans Estate Agency in case of any issues related to the flat. I can message or call anytime to Oliver, he always keeps in touch with us, and happy to help us. I am saying this since we did ask some things we were not sure about, and he came in person and showed us how things work here. We are living in our new home so happily! Thank you, OLIVER! After months of dealing with uninterested letting agents, Oliver at Truemans was refreshingly helpful in finding us a fantastic new flat to rent in Hove from an experienced landlord. As the property was being renovated, he allowed us to visit several times to check on progress and was always on time for viewings. Operating from their modern office on Church Road, Oliver was always available in-person and on the phone to answer all our questions during the paperwork stages without delay. I first met Oliver after my wife found a beautiful one bedroom property in Brighton to let, close to her workplace, and had met him a couple of days before. From the outset, my wife had relayed that Oliver was really helpful, outgoing and nice - and had made her feel at ease during the stressful moving time. When I met him I also sensed the same helpfulness, and as we went through with the let, he was always very responsive, extremely professional and timely with his communication. My husband and I sold our flat and had to look for a place to stay for 3 months whilst waiting for our onward purchase to complete so our circumstances were very tricky to manage. I mean who does a 3 month let these days? Serendipitously, we came across a flat close to where we sold ours on Right Move and got in touch with Truman's, Lettings. We dealt with Oliver (director) and the service was really fantastic from start to finish. His efficiency and response times were impeccable, especially when we had to communicate through him as the landlord was out of the country in different timezones. I have lived in Brighton and Hove since 1998 so know it well and may as well been born here. There are many cowboy Lettings / Estate agencies out there and you never know whom you will get or the service you receive. Truemans Lettings are definitely a pleasure to deal with! Highly recommended. Ask for Oliver :-)
