Where do I start. By far the WORST letting agents I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Very disorganised, when you ask any of them for anything they’re oblivious and useless. Persistent lies to get you to agree tenancy, then when you finally send over money and documents a complete disregard to customer care. Very much looking forward to never having to deal with this company again, avoid at all costs.
We are somewhat confused as to what issues were experienced to warrant this feedback. Our records show no contact since your tenancy began 2 months ago.We would be grateful if you contact the office you completed your tenancy agreement so that we may address your concerns. Please be assured they will be only too happy to assist. Please note we do not manage this property, if there have been any subsequent issues regarding the property please refer them to your Landlord. With regards to your accusations of ‘worst agency’. We are an independent business and local employer of 40 years. We have always considered customer care our first and foremost priority for all of our customers, as can be seen by the over three thousand reviews here on Trust Pilot. Ocean Lettings handle tens of thousands of tenancies annually, and manage thousands of properties. We are always refining our processes to ensure the best possible client care. Previously wrote a 5 star great review for the Ocean team. However, after moving into the place (1.5 months later) we have been utterly disappointed. Many issues with the house were not fixed and followed up in a timely manner. Serious issues raised since day 3 are still pending in solution. Be warned! Please view properties super carefully to avoid unpleasant experiences like ours.
UPDATE: 6/10/23Once again, we appreciate your feedback and regret that the property did not meet your expectations upon moving in. We have obtained quotes for the necessary work and forwarded them to the landlord. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to expedite a response, we are still waiting to receive their approval. We have followed up with them again today.In addition, we have arranged for a contractor to examine and propose solutions for the issues you more recently reported.We sincerely apologise on behalf of the landlord for the delay in authorising the required work. We are actively pursuing them to expedite the process. Rest assured, we will keep you informed as soon as we receive any updates.Thank you once again for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are committed to resolving these issues for you as soon as possible.Ocean We are sorry to learn of your disappointment. Our hope and expectation would be a positive, indeed 5-star experience throughout your tenancy.
