GoogleMishon Mackay Hove did not come across as professional. As a Vendor, I would advise against this office. Melanie arrived late to the 2nd viewing, and then rushed us out of the house. Despite the Vendor informing Mishon Mackay of issues in the house, they did not declare this information to the buyers. When conveyancers revealed this information, Oliver and his team refused to take responsibility and the Vendor was forced to take the hit - they simply wanted the sale and commission without the work. Once the offer was received, different people were being involved in the sale. The only 2 people that knew their roles and communicated with the vendor and buyer were Sue and Holly.

Saige the letting agent showed us around numerous properties and was super helpful in answering all of our questions and also was just very friendly and made the whole experience really enjoyable for us. We ended up securing our property that day which we never would’ve known about if Saige hadn’t suggested it to us, so are super greatful!!!!

As an Executor, I had the task of selling an apartment in Kemptown whilst living in London. So it was really vital to me that I could feel total confidence in my choice of estate agent. And in Josh Pennycott from Mishon Mackay, I found exactly this. Resourceful, enthusiastic, realistic, always just at the end of a phone. Every development was relayed immediately, and always wise advice. Completion was achieved yesterday, during the pandemic, not easy. I have at no stage questioned my choice of agent - I recommend 100%

My partner and I worked with Amy at Mishon Mackay's Hove office and have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. From start to finish, Amy was knowledgeable, attentive and very helpful. At all times, she was friendly, very patient (particularly given some of the delays we experienced) and gave us confidence that our sale was in good hands. This was our first experience of selling a property and Amy made the process as painless as possible and was there to answer our questions and explain anything we were unclear on.

Stop bloody emailing me! I have unsubscribed from their emails about 10 times and they don't stop. I've never rented from them and I only called them once to book a viewing and they have incessantly emailed me about properties ever since. Shut up, go away, get bent

Excellent pro-active service from Mishon Mackay Hove and Thomas in particular. Having seen several properties with them I made an offer on another property via a different agent. When the type of (difficult to find) property Thomas knew I would be interested in came on the market he followed up with me to see if I was still interested - which I wasn’t until my initial purchase fell through. I was then able to quickly view the flat I ended up buying and made an offer which was accepted. Throughout the process Mishon Mackay have offered a “joined up service” - even when Thomas was not available his colleagues were fully briefed and aware of the status. Overall a very smooth, professional service, highly recommended.

Beth was super lovely when we first met her for a viewing. She was super knowledgable about the property and so positive about it too. We liked her so much after having ours on the market for a while with another agent we switched to Mishon Mickay with Beth so she could try to sell our flat. Within a couple of weeks we had multiple viewings and offers (which was a huge surprise to us after months of nothing with our previous agent). We managed to sell and brought our new house with Beth too. She made everything so simple and would always be willing to give us frequent updates without having to call. We would not hesitate to use Mishon again, in fact we would recommend to anyone in the area to use Beth as their agent especially. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in our first sale and first house buy. Thank you so much Beth xx

Glenn and the team at 7 Dials did a great job helping us sell our two bedroom flat in central Brighton. In particular, we liked the way it was presented online with some excellent photographs and the professional way the open day and subsequent viewings were handled. Glenn helped us get a good price for the flat and during the subsequent process of moving the chain towards completion, he did a great job of keeping our buyer on-board and advising us on how best to deal with solicitors in order to complete as quickly as possible. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in Brighton.

Josh Pennycott was super to deal with from the beginning, until the sale was completed. My flat had several offers and interest from the first day of viewing. Kept me informed of every stage, gave me good advice, even signed forms for me during lockdown. Friendly, informative and professional. The best estate agents I've ever dealt with and am now thoroughly spoilt. Would say is the Rolls Royce of estate agents. Mainly, I had confidence in Josh and Mishon Mackay and trust, which is invaluable.Would happily recommend Mishon Mackay to anyone selling and buying.

My wife has submitted her own review and I just wanted to add my thoughts in addition to hers. We have bought and sold properties (seven in total) and know that you can be given false figures or guidance as we have experienced it ourselves. I can honestly recommend Mishon Mackay at 111 Dyke Rd Brighton their sales manager George Wayne visited our property and gave an honest opinion of its value and their services. I had reviewed four potential estate agents and they spread from "we have someone already who would be interested" even a visit offered before agreement and constantly on the phone for our business, which you can take two ways but for me it was too much and another that took low pressure sales to far. There were only two in the end and I liked them both but opted for George`s company and very pleased we did. I would also like to mention Samim Nabizada, who kept us bang up to date with how it was progressing and others in the team who I only had little contact but came across very professionally. So if your looking at selecting the right estate agent, give them a try and you can evaluate them yourselves, we would certainly be happy to use them again.
This is such a lovely testament of how George goes about his business supported by his team at our Brighton Office. It's rare enough for people to give praise anyway these days but for someone to add to what his wife has already said on a previous review is even more rare. Estate agents forget that a buyer may one day become a seller. Unfortunately, for Mishon Mackay if they were the only estate agent available in the area I would simply choose not to sell my property. If I can sum up my experience in one word it would be disorganised. Mixed up viewings timings on more than one occasion, arrived late on more than one occasion, used the excuse of the seller's occupation for a serious delays in the conveyancing process on more than one occasion and became unpleasant over the phone one more than one occasion. The experience with Mishon Mckay made me realise why people do not trust estate agents. It got to the point where I needed them to put everything in writing over email and refused to pick up the phone to them. I wanted to pull out of my purchase at least 5 times and it if it wasn't for their constant false reassurances by them I would have. On completion, I did not receive all the keys and the seller had left a large item in the property even though exchange was 4 weeks prior. Buying your first home should be exciting and all the joy and happiness I had was lost whilst buying a property from Mishon Mackay.

I was really impressed with the service from the team in Hove, especially Sue. She managed the negotiations perfectly and helped me get an offer accepted on the property I really wanted in a sought after area of Hove, after spending months looking. I viewed the property a few times and nothing was too much trouble. As a buyer I had a positive experience dealing with their team and based on this, when I decide to sell I would have total confidence in the property being marketed and sold by the Mishon Mackay sales team.
