Buying a home for the first time is a stressful and at times an infuriating and always a frightening (and exciting) thing to do. I had dire experiences with the majority of estate agents I registered with throughout Brighton. but Dani and his colleagues in Mishon Mackay Kemptown were always a delight. Not only personable, knowledgeable and unfailingly prompt, Dani was also helpful - something which I didn't think was possible in an estate agent. His knowledge of the area, the market, but also of the fears/concerns of a first-time buyer, made him a thoroughly excellent professional to work with. I would have no hesitation recommending Mishon Mackay in Kemptown (and already have) and I wish them the best of luck in all their endeavours.

I would highly recommend mishon mackay to anyone looking to sell their property. I have worked with the seven dials and the Rottingdean branches both in relation to selling property and renting one out. I have been simply amazed at the Agents positive attitudes, determination and knowledge of their market across every aspect the business. Chris Thew at seven dials has most recently helped me all a central Brighton flat. Not only did he secure a good price for the property, he worked tirelessly to get the sale home. Nothing was too much trouble. If he said something was going to be done, I could be rest assured that it would be. Although I mainly dealt with Chris, if he wasn't in the office and I had a question, they I was confident that another member of the team would be able to help me and have knowledge of the situation and I think that this is what sets mishon mackay apart from other estate agents is the people. Yes it's a business, but everyone who works there truly does their best to deliver the best possible service and it really is evident that this is a company ethos. I wont be using any other estate agent again and I would urge anyone reading this to do the same!

Estate agents have a bad name but I …

Estate agents have a bad name but I really feel we got excellent service from the team, especially Alexandra and Danny when we sold our house. 2 of our buyers had issues with their own properties and had to pull out and each time the house was back under offer within less than a week. The last chain we really had to push through so we didn't lose the dream house we wanted to but buy and Danny did a great job of keeping it moving as quickly as possible. Definitely recommended!

Great branch manager.

First, the good: They got many viewings booked and valued the property at the right pirce.Sadly, the buyer presented themselves as a cash buyer, this wasn't the case. I felt this should have been checked more carefully. This was supposed to be a quick sale, and I felt that this wasn't managed very well. There were also errors on the memo of sale which took two attempts to correct, which was a bit unnerving. Back to the good - once the branch manager took over, the service was excellent. He worked so hard and kept me totally informed. Sam is a total star! He went above and beyond to get the sale completed.

I’ve recently purchased a property in Hove with Mishon Mackay. The sale department team is outstanding. Always answering the phone and doing their best to help. Holly and her team are really good. Sue, Oliver and Melanie together with Holly were always keeping me posted with emails and phone calls. Great communication from start to finish. I very rarely write reviews…. We had a particularly difficult time but…Mishon were our saviours!

We had a particularly difficult time selling our house and in the end after a bad experience with one agent and a buyer pulling out with our second agent, we then decided to go with Mishon in Preston Park. Mishon in Hove, were the agents for a flat we had put an offer on, so to try and save the chain from breaking, we thought they would be the best choice for becoming our agents. It wasn't long before they found us a buyer. Sam and especially Amina, worked tirelessly to negotiate with the new buyer and save the chain. Matthew Pahlavan and Sarah of Hove were also great and supportive throughout the whole long drawn out process. We're now in our little home and very happy and this was made possible by all the team at Mishon.

I would highly recommend Mishon Mackay but especially Dee Karagol. Dee was friendly and approachable from the moment we met whilst viewing potential properties. She took a personal approach and really took on board our criteria in order to help find us a property. Once we had accepted an offer on our flat she went out of the way to progress the sale as quickly as possible. There were 12 properties in the chain so it wasn't an easy task! She was incredibly proactive, efficient and her communication was outstanding, giving me updates constantly. Before dealing with Mishon Mackay, I had only ever bought a house, when it came to sell, I did know the process when it comes to getting valuations and dealing with solicitors. I called Mishon Mackay and Oliver came round to explain the whole process to me as well as value my property. I’m very happy with the service I received from start to finish, they were professional, friendly and helpful and made the process as stress free as possible. My first property sale fell through but they acted fast and remarketed this within 24 hours and even saved the final sale for me.
