I bought my flat using Mishon Mackay 7 years ago as a ‘new build’ although my type of building wasn’t classed as a proper new build so never had new build warranty. False promises and now £40k down due to the entire walls needing to be rebuilt. Work is still ongoing and could cost more. This company focuses more on ensuring they have a close relationship with the crook development companies selling off these places at a high premium when materials used were not up to standard! Thus making people live in properties which are not fit for purpose.

I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. Colin is an absolute star from the Hurst Office. We bought our next property through Mishon but he also worked exhaustively to move on the sale of our previous property to close the deal with our agent(who was not Mishon). We brought our last house through Mishon 19 years ago and brought our next house through them too. I do not say lightly that this company is the one to use. Polite, professional, friendly and go way over and above. Dan (you are not forgotten) who also stepped up to advise and assist in getting this deal closed. We've recently been fortunate enough to have Mishon Mackay helping with the sale of our house in Rottingdean, and our ongoing search for a new property. In particular the support of Jacob Twiselton has stood out as one of our very best experiences dealing with an estate agent. There was a long chain to be managed before our sale could go through, and several unexpected issues which came up, and Jacob went above and beyond to ensure all was resolved with good time, always with the utmost friendliness and courtesy. He was communicative, professional, incredibly helpful and I feel safe in saying that, were it not for everything he did, exchange would at the very least have been badly delayed, or - much worse - not happened at all. He, and the whole team, have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and we won't hesitate in working with them again.

1st time buyer and overall I’ve had a really good experience from the team at MM.Thom worked tirelessly on one property I attempted to buy, and now Alex has been equally efficient, in obtaining the one I’ve since gone on to purchase.And I’m throughly greatful, during which has been a daunting process.I wanted to give 5 stars, but unfortunately having spent a considerable amount of time trying to buy one property, the downfall was an issue over commercial attachment.Unbeknownst to me, this makes it near impossible to get a mortgage. Had I been aware of this issue, I really wouldn’t have invested the energy and money it has cost. Being naive to property purchasing, I would have assumed estate agents have a responsibility to inform potential buyers. Maybe I’m expecting too much.Still.. it has all worked out and I’m thankful.

I personally dealt with Alexandra first time when we decided to sell one of our property in Wilson Avenue Brighton. I would like to point out after reviewing several local agents we decided to go with Mishon Mackay because of Alexandra as she came across extremely focused and knowledgeable and willing to go that extra mile to get things done . I have been a landlord with Mishon Mackay, Hove branch for over 10years. It is their people and exceptional service that make the remarkable difference between Real Estate Agencies. Mishon Mackay, Hove are professional, thorough, responsive and efficient to both myself and my long term tenant (8+years). All the staff that I have dealt with from the initial purchase to rental are genuinely passionate about and dedicated to, people and property; ensuring the best outcomes for all parties. The contractors/suppliers they use are excellent and productive too. Most recently I have had the pleasure of dealing with Amie Guirey, a likeable, resourceful and intelligent Property Manager. She is truly an asset to Mishon Mackay, having resolved all issues with this property promptly and actually 'thinking' about situations to not only resolve them but to sort it out properly the first time, thus ensuring it never happens again. I have been most impressed. I, and my tenant are very happy and both are important. As a landlord, you need long term tenants. I have been a landlord for many years with property in different regions and to date, Mishon Mackay have truly excelled compared to the other Real Estate Companies, and all done remotely as I reside overseas. I just wanted to share our experience of buying a house earlier this year with Mishon Mackay. As is always the case with selling and buying houses, the process wasn't straightforward and there were unexpected issues that cropped up along the way, especially as we neared exchange - Having previously moved a handful of times, I can honestly say that this was the most stressful chain yet and were it not for the efforts of the Mishon Mackay team, especially Sarah McCarthy, I'm not sure we'd have made it. But we did and as a family we are genuinely so grateful to the whole Hove office for helping us move in to our dream home. From the first viewing of the house, through the negotiations handled professionally and transparently by Matthew and Steve and then towards exchange and completion, with the constant support of Sarah, the team gave a consistently first class service. Just wanted to say how amazing Mishon Mackay where with finding my Mum a beautiful flat. They where so kind and helpful with every step of the process, Chris Cottrell was especially on the ball and made sure we had all the support we needed. My mums not very computer savvy and they ensured it was as easily as possible for her. I felt I could call at any time to ask questions and nothing was too much trouble for him, he even managed to get a better price than the original asking price for us! I would use Mishon Mackay again, and highly recommend to anyone looking to rent or buy for a personal and thoughtful service. 5 star.

I found everyone at the Brighton branch to be very professional, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, particularly Tom who has been our main contact in selling our flat. The pictures and listing of our property were both excellent, and they found a suitable buyer and agreed our sale within a couple of weeks. The support post sale was also superb and kept me sane through the process of waiting for exchange. Unlike other agents we have dealt with we were able to consistently deal with one key contact which was really a positive from our perspective. I would definitely recommend based on our experience.

Mishon Mackay don’t go anywhere else!

What can I say! But Excellent! Professional! Efficient! And Caring! That is Mishon Mackay! Two years of renting a property from them and they went above and beyond to make sure that my moving in and moving out was as stress free as possible. Anytime things needed fixing a dedicated trustworthy maintenance team carried out the works without me even being home. I cannot than Jordan enough for her hard work in dealing with everything with such understanding efficiency and empathy. Likewise the rest of the rental team Maria, Mia, Louis and Jay. Whenever I rang or just popped into the office nothing was too much for them. I highly recommend them and have to friends who also rate them as amazing compared to the other Real Estates in Brighton.
