Great service from nice people

On 19.07.2023 Lextons did two hours of 'block viewings' and showed nine viewers my flat - the following day I had tenants confirmed. Swiftly thereafter all the relevant checks were carried out (EIPC etc) and meanwhile I was in communication with Sofia, who was arranging the references, tenancy agreement and inventory. By 07.08.2023 I heard again from Sofia with the references and by 09.08.2023 the tenancy agreement was signed by all the parties and sent to me under cover of a helpful email from Sofia confirming the next steps and links for any maintenance/accounts queries for future ref. A lot of work had been promptly carried out on my behalf while I just got on with my life, no fuss, no hassle and a great service from nice people. Very reassuring.

Happy to Recommend James at Lextons (Buy-side Review)

Can highly recommend James at Lextons, Hove. We just bought a property they were marketing, and whilst I fully appreciate the agent is acting for the seller, not the buyer (and I bear this in mind in writing this), perhaps a buy-side view is also useful? Anyway, from my perspective I found James to be responsive, honest, and a stand-up guy. (Regrettably, I really couldn't say the same about all the agents I came across during my search for a house to buy in Brighton/Hove!) The main aspect I appreciated was his communications, which were always friendly and timely. His follow-up service after we bought was pretty good too, although he was rather hamstrung by the fact that the seller was no longer providing assistance and information, so what he could do for us post-completion was relatively limited. But at least he tried! All in all, James fully deserves his 5 star review. Thanks for being an honest and decent agent. And best of luck for the future. Simon.

Lextons are very good at what they do.

I realise that everyone praises their Letting Agent when the property is let, a family has moved in and commissions have been paid, but I do think Lextons stand out.If you want good advice with a gentle touch, I would recommend Simon and Sofia in the Lettings Department on 01273 56 77 66, who I found to be both personable and very proactive, finding a new family in 4 days, who tell me they are delighted with the their new home. As it costs nothing to get a quote and some top tips from an expert, I'd suggest calling Simon if you have or wish to rent a property in Hove. Good luck!

We worked with Peter at Lextons to sell our flat, and they also turned out to be the agent for the flat we were keen on and subsequently bought. We chose Peter for our sale as we appreciated his enthusiasm, experience in the Brighton market, and also that he is a pleasure to deal with (at the risk of offending a whole group of people, he's not very estate agenty!) He comes across as genuine, not overly pushy, and is more knowledgeable than many agents we crossed paths with in Brighton.(In fact when we viewed a property with another Lextons agent, Claudia, our experience was just so much better than many other estate agencies - she knew the property and came prepared.
