I have bought and sold with Rob Fane. He has been absolutely fantastic to work with. He goes miles extra to communicate with buyers and sellers alike and is such a great person too. You know when you have a great friend thats treasure, and Rob has been the most amazing person to business with, right through all the paperwork, strategies, feed back and connections with experts in the area. IE conveyancing and all the specialist aspects that are different when one buys or sells at auction. It is a delight to be able to recommend him.

I had a fantastic experience working with Rob throughout my first property purchase via auction. Having been involved in an auction before but not as the lead, the process was a bit daunting, but Rob made everything straightforward and stress-free from start to finish. His communication was excellent, he kept me fully informed at every stage, always taking the time to explain things clearly and promptly answer any questions I had. I always felt reassured knowing he was there to guide me through the process. What really stood out was his professionalism and dedication to making sure everything went smoothly. Even though I was buying, not selling, I was so impressed with the service that I would have complete confidence using Rob and his team as a seller in the future, particularly through the auction route. This company is very different from all other estate agents. It is the second time I have used Lextons. Communication is key and we were always updated as the process progressed finally to a sale in this most difficult market place. Their approach is consistently good customer service. They work so hard to achieve our aim and never give up. They made a difficult experience with another agent, appalling in comparison, seem a bit easier in our time of grief after losing our mother. A very human approach. Every member of staff in Hove was very helpful and worked very hard indeed.

I bought a property through Lextons and dealt with Rob and Laoisa - they were both polite and efficient throughout the whole process. They always came back to me promptly when I had questions (and I did have quite a few questions!) and were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Despite Lextons representing the Vendors our interactions with Josh and Tara were always met with professionalism and fairness. I had multiple unauthorized entries into my property by Lextons and their representatives based in the Hove Office, including one occasion where the landlord entered my private bathroom without clear permission, he slipped in through the front door after I consented to allowing someone in to test the fire detector. On another occasion I refused an agent access because I did not get 24 hours notice, in response I received a letter rearranging a visit with a "warning" that if access was refused I would be charged an abortive call out fee. I felt intimidated and made a formal complaint. There was no excuse for this behavior. I have been a co-operative, exemplary tenant and if they could have just explained they needed to inspect the property there would have been no push back from me. However, their conduct was extremely disrespectful and made me feel vulnerable. I would not rent through them again.

Nick was amazing - I called up the day before an existing viewing to cancel it due to parking restrictions near the beach. We tried for a year to buy a house and there were a couple of good estate agents, and some terrible ones. We went through the ringer. Credit to Lextons and their team in the the different offices across the Brighton and Hove region; they made it happen for us. There are some shining lights on their team including Olly, Mary, James, Hattie, to name just a few, and it was on one property that we were fortunate to meet Claudia which is when everything changed. I think were were very fortunate, and I think the vendor was also very fortunate. Claudia had a duty of care to the vendor, but she also made us as the buyer feel very cared for. Lextons from the word go, have been incredibly professional, responsive and diligent. I've never before considered buying a property from auction but from the word go Simon and his team have been on the ball and very professional. The process of buying this way, was explained fully from viewing the property to having the legal pack read and ultimately attending the auction. Nothing has been to much trouble for Simon and Lextons from a simple call, email or face to face, i felt very safe and incredibly well looked after. Ultimately I was unsuccessful in my purchase due to my own financial constraints, however i would definitely go back to auction in the future and I highly recommend the services of Simon and his team. James and his team at Lextons were exceptional in their work on my property sale in Brighton. James saw the entire process through from our initial meeting to completion day. James secured a very good purchase price for my property and provided a comprehensive in house advertising service with excellent professional photography, copywriting and extensive advertising across online platforms. James secured multiple viewings and carried them out personally ensuring that prospective buyers had all the information they required and James was able to answer all questions on the spot having a comprehensive knowledge of the property. My onward purchase proved unexpectedly complicated and slow going and James went above and beyond to keep my sale on track during this time, using his expertise to help push along my purchase as well despite this not being part of his remit. James never gave up and was always on hand for a call, was easy to talk to and proactive in keeping me up to date with progress. It's clear that James and his team are enthusiastic about and brilliant at what they do, providing a very personal, proactive and client focused service with very reasonable rates too. There was nothing negative about my experience and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
