We dealt with Ryan and Adam, both were friendly, polite and professional and made the whole process easy. They also let us in to see the house so that we could show different family members on quite a few occasions before we exchanged! So that was super helpful. GoogleI have been so impressed with Dean & Co since the minute I first called them. Trying to find somewhere to rent at the moment is such a worrying and stressful time, but Dean & Co have made the whole process so much easier and took away all that worry. I have been dealing with Marion who has been so kind, so understanding, professional and has always responded to my queries promptly. I am so happy to be renting through such a lovely agency, I can’t recommend them enough.

GoogleDean & Co were the third agent we saw who valued property at £25,000 more than two other local agents. They were surprised two other agents valued well below. They (Dean & CO) were right. We had a sale in about 2-3 weeks for full asking price. They have been helpful throughout the entire process and property sold for £25K more than we expected. Nick Williams was professional throughout and always helpful. Their fee was very reasonable too. Recommend.

GoogleCouldn't fault them brilliant from start to finish. Kept us regularly updated. All staff friendly and informative not pushy like other estate agents who continuely bugged us to get our property. If you want an agent to treat you like a person and not just a property to sell use Dean and Co.

GoogleDidn't advertise property correctly, got the tenure wrong - costing us time energy and money, didn't chase up solicitor well, rude, unethical, i had to do lots of work they should have done and sale didn't go through.. untrustworthy, don't waste your money here... My reply to Dean & Co’s reply I wrote the review because it’s important people know. My review is based on real experience ~It was a shame (to use your language) that you didn’t do your job well as I am always happy to leave positive reviews (have left hundreds) when things are done well. Not even an apology for incorrect advertising (which I note you are still doing for the same property which is very telling) and the subsequent waste of weeks time for not pursuing the work effectively with solicitors. We gave you numerous requests for certain actions to take place from our solicitor which were not done, hence why we didn’t meet your sellers ‘proposed deadline’ as you hadn’t met ours... we wish you well, but please act more ethically in the future to save people’s time,energy and money ...these things matter just as much as trying to push people into a sale, ultimately truthful ethical marketing is better for everyone in the long run. Please change the way you work....
We are not used to negative feedback as our clients are usually happy with their experience, which is shown in pretty much every other review here. In every transaction there are always moving parts to enable a sale to proceed. It’s a shame you have vented your frustrations and accusations here, which we do not agree with. We are surprised by this as we thought we had a good working relationship with you until Wednesday after you decided not meet a proposed deadline from our client to move things forward. It’s a shame you feel this way and we wish you all the best with your search for another property.

GoogleAs tenants, they always sided with the landlord and never considered how events that unfolded during me and my partner's tenancy would affect us. Although our issue was more with the landlord, we presented a full case to Dean & Co with evidence of communication between us and them, showing how the landlord had ill-advised us, which ended up with us being in debt with our energy company. Our cases to D&C were never read in full and we got dull, denying responses back from the landlord (via D&C), not taking most of what we said into consideration. The landlord flat out denied all allegations and D&C believed them, despite us having email evidence of communication between them and the landlord. No compensation was provided from this, so we were left with a huge energy debt alongside replacement charges after we ended our tenancy for things that weren't even our fault, and lack of communication from them of any final rent due. We were robbed of most of our deposit despite being really good tenants and D&C failed to recognise this, as they always side with the landlord, not the tenant. Although this was the worst case we had, there were also instances of us reporting certain faults that were never chased up by them, as well as elements in the inventory never been seen to, despite being told they would be. We're just glad we never have to rent again, and even if we did, we'd avoid Dean & Co and would tell others to do so. I'm only giving 2 stars, as the only positives were that the initial application was easy, and certain issues with the flat were seen to promptly, but the negative experience we had (especially towards the end) has overshadowed any early positives.

Unfortunately in this instance there was a deposit dispute which was referred to the Arbitration service of the Deposit company who decided to award the deposit deduction to the Landlord, it was not our decision. We are disappointed that you feel that we were not impartial as this is certainly not our ethos or intention.

GoogleI have recently dealt with many estate agents across sussex in the sale and potential purchase of our next home What a difference in service when you dealing with a smaller more independent chain. I found Dean's the most approachable and the most sensitive. At a time when I was selling my family home, the whole team provide sensitive excellent, timely, proactive support. I would 100% recommend Deans for selling properties.
