TrustpilotAnnoying and pointless
This used to be a useful site to keep track of house prices. Now it's nothing but spam. Every single thing you do is preceded by pop-ups, offers, upgrades and non-skippable questionnaires when all you want to do is view a single piece of information. And even when you claim a property you're asked the same things again and again when you log in.In addition, Zoopla removed the one thing for which it was useful, that is adding information to your own property to give a more accurate valuation. Now the valuation of my property at least is rubbish, no better than guesswork.Basically, all the information now on the site is available much more easily elsewhere.

TrustpilotTerrible website, gave up in the end!
Was advised by an independent estate agent to look on Zoopla as well as Rightmove, as not all homes for sale are on both.Well, I tried but the website is absolutely awful! Seems to reload every 10 seconds or so and the house I was looking at would disappear then jump around, changing to different houses! Dreadful - tried to continue scrolling but just ended up missing loads of houses and eventually gave up. Now I remember why I didn't bother with this lot and just stuck to Rightmove - at least their online platform is solid and a joy to navigate.

TrustpilotGreat information
I have learned so much about the housing market , took advice on what to do for preparation for our move and understand why it’s taking so long for solicitors to complete on our chain . Especially as we are over 50 and mortgage rules are a little different depending on circumstances. Zoopla has been a great benefit for us .

TrustpilotThis has to be the slowest website in the world.
It would be quicker to find properties for sale if I actually walked around the area looking for For Sale boards. This website has so many external links for this tracker and that advert that it is almost unusable. If you are going to spend money on TV ads, make sure your website works first. Duh!!! UPDATE: Now there is yet another external link to another tracker called Cloudflare that comes up even before you get to Zoopla. It just gets worse.

Bought my house for £170,000 (estate agent valuation) January 2023. Had estate valuation some months ago at £190,000+. Checked Zoopla valuation and find went down to £144,000 in November 2023 and now in January 2024 Zoopla valuation of £167,000. This company is clueless. Also, what is this "My Home" they passed me onto for my valuation? When I put in my next door neighbours their valuations was even worse having been valued at £135,000 last November they dropped to £155,000 in January 2024 and they have exactly the same semi-detached house as me.They say their valuations are outside sourced ... so probably to pass the blame. I just hope no-one is taking their valuations seriously. If you want a realistic valuation on your property get a few estate agents valuations and by-pass this lot right away.

Hi Gary,Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We're really sorry to hear you feel this way about our valuation model. The Zoopla house price estimate is based on data fed through an automated valuation model (AVM), which analyses property information on all 29 million UK homes on a continuous basis. Our data comes from multiple sources based on a number of data points relating to property sales, values and home characteristics throughout the UK, including publicly available data such as that from HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland. The accuracy of Zoopla estimates is influenced by a number of factors such as the current market values of homes, the quality of the information available on the given property and the availability of comparable properties in the area. This means that unique properties or those where the housing market is slower, may experience less accurate estimates. We receive new data all the time and above-average variations will be largely a result of changing property characteristics and the comparability of the property to the local market. Therefore, discrepancies and/or increases or decreases such as you have outlined are not unusual. Here is a Help Centre article that will give you more information on where we get our data from:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360005677897If there's anything else we can do to help you with or if you wish to contact us directly with your feedback, be sure to visit our Help Centre where you may find many useful articles as well as a designated section for home owners:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/Many thanks,Zoopla Support

TrustpilotMy house attributes are wrong
My house attributes are wrong, it states it is a 2 bedroom when it is a 3 bedroom. I have tried communicating with them but was told there is nothing they can do as it is information made available to them. I would suggest reviewing their info supply as it is wrong. I have checked my deeds and it is a 3 bedroom house, my mortgage confirmed it is a 3 bedroom house, the mortgage's solicitors confirmed it is a 3 bedroom house, my own solicitors says its a 3 bedroom house. What is more annoying is that it use to show up as a 3 bedroom house, then something changed. I am not aware of losing a bedroom as that means one of us would be sleeping outside. If Zoopla want to be a market leader then perhaps they can work back up the chain holding other data sources to account, this would benefit the whole industry and justify their no 1 position.

Every flat in my building has wildly inaccurate valuations, I reported the mistakes and they said they won’t or can’t fix it. Makes the website pointless as you can’t trust any of the valuations.[update] Zoolpa, where are you meant to be messaging me privately? For more info, my property is listed £1.3m over what is on the land registry which was updated less than a year ago. If you can find me a buyer at that price I would be very happy though as that’s about 4x what I bought it for.

Went to see house prices and Zoopla suggested free valuations with suggested nearby Estate agents. I filled in the form advising I had no intention of selling and was only interested following recent works + preferred to be contacted via email or evenings. I was bombarded with calls all day long and it's been going on for 3 days now. Estate agents were not interested once they knew I had no intention of selling, which is understandable.Estate agents claim they were not given this information, so 1) they are all liars or 2) Zoopla sold the lead and omitted vital information

Hi Andrea,Thanks for taking the time to leave us a 3 star review. We're really sorry to hear about your negative experience with some of the estate agents who advertise on our portal. All the for sale/to rent information on Zoopla is provided to us by the estate agents advertising the properties who are subject to our terms and conditions and code of conduct. When the status of their properties changes to either 'let' or ‘sold’, we request they mark the property as 'Let agreed' or ‘Sold STC’ on Zoopla if this is the case, but unfortunately, it seems sometimes this is not always done immediately resulting in our users finding listings in search results they did not expect.Listings generally take no longer than 24 hours to disappear from the website after the agent has requested its removal unless there was a technical error which we would be able to confirm. Our aim is to ensure that all information on our site is as comprehensive and accurate as possible so next time you see this, it would be very helpful if you could click ‘Report this listing’ on the listing’s page (on the desktop site). Here is a Help Centre article discussing how to report a listing, in greater detail:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360006033017We will then investigate the issue further by speaking to the agent advertising the property.Alternatively, please feel free to send any website links for incorrectly uploaded properties directly to us to investigate further with the marketing agent(s) and update our records accordingly. If there's anything else we can do to help you with or if you wish to contact us directly with your feedback, be sure to visit our Help Centre where you may find many useful articles as well as a designated section for property seekers:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/Many thanks,Zoopla Support
