Zoopla is great keeping me informed straight away of houses available to rent - however I would like to see either the opportunity to put in more than one area or the opportunity to state which area I definitely don’t want to live in. I want to live in Nantwich, Shavington, Willaston, etc but don’t want to live in Crewe but I have to enter the mileage so I receive lots of unnecessary emails for Crewe 🤷🏻♀️

Zoopla is great most of the time, i find after filling in the preferences, like rent and area, both ok but then i'm looking for £450pm the nearest one to that is £500, but i keep getting houses for £6/7/800 just ridiculous really, then the bedrooms not 1, 2, 3, but 1+ 2+ 3+ so i go for 1+ and get offered 3/4 bedrooms when i only want 2 beds, apart from that there is some nice places.

Hi Angus,
Thanks so much for leaving us a 4 star review. We're happy to hear you are pleased with our service and we hope Zoopla continues to be useful for you in all things property related.
The Zoopla house price estimate is based on data fed through an automated valuation model (AVM), which analyses property information on all 29 million UK homes on a continuous basis. Our data comes from multiple sources based on a number of data points relating to property sales, values and home characteristics throughout the UK, including publicly available data such as that from HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland.
The accuracy of Zoopla estimates is influenced by a number of factors such as the current market values of homes, the quality of the information available on the given property and the availability of comparable properties in the area. This means that unique properties or those where the housing market is slower, may experience less accurate estimates.
We receive new data all the time and above-average variations will be largely a result of changing property characteristics and the comparability of the property to the local market. Therefore, discrepancies and/or increases or decreases such as you have outlined are not unusual.
Here is a Help Centre article that will give you more information on where we get our data from:

Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you feel this way.
Many of the features on our site & mobile app are continually being developed and we recognise that things aren't perfect.
Zoopla aims to provide users with an advantage in the property market by creating a transparent marketplace, and our tools and services improve and become more effective with feedback and data from our users.
I have provided this feedback to the team who look after our property experiences.
To help with your alerts you ccan use the keyword filter on your alerts:
1. Use the Keywords box to tailor your results.
Search for single words by typing them in, comma separated, e.g. garage, garden, bath.
Search for phrases by adding quotations marks, e.g. "Detatched". You can exclude terms too by prefixing them with '-' e.g. -semi-detached, -terraced, etc.
2. Click Update results

Hi SahadiThank you for leaving us your feedback. We prohibit property listings on our website that include the term 'No DSS' and all of the properties on our website are now in line with our new regulations. We believe that all tenants looking to rent a property deserve the chance to be fully assessed for their suitability and matched to a home that suits both their and the landlord's circumstances. As such, we do not have a functionality on our website which would allow you to search for properties whose owners/landlords allow DSS. In order to find out if DSS/housing benefits are accepted at a particular property that you are interested in, you will need to contact its marketing agent directly for more information. If you need to tailor your rental searches by any other criteria, here is a help centre article that will guide you through that process in just a few clicks: https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360006053137If you need any further assistance and wish to contact us directly with your feedback, you may do so via our designated Help Centre:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/Many thanks,Zoopla Support

TrustpilotZoopla Home Check - beware of limits on searches
I signed up to the Zoopla Home Check monthly subscription, in the belief that I would be able to request information on properties without any limitations for the fee of £9.99 a month.Recently when requesting the Home Checks, nothing was being delivered to my email. I contacted customer support and was advised that buried deep in their T&Cs is a clause which states the maximum number of reports you can request is 40...not 40 a month for your monthly fee...40 in total for however long your subscription lasts at £9.99 a month.Granted, it is my fault that I did not interrogate the T&Cs, however I believe the sign up process for this is very deceptive, at no point is it made clear or highlighted that the maximum number of reports you can request is 40 for however long your subscription lasts. My subscription renewed yesterday, after I had already received the maximum number of 40 reports. I have requested a refund for the £9.99, and will update this review with the outcome.I would have thought that Zoopla might have a system in place which prevented renewal of the subscription fee once you had hit the 40 reports...but it seems not...instead Zoopla have taken £9.99 from me knowing full well I had reached my maximum report allowance. If the Zoopla system can recognise when to stop delivering home check reports, surely the system should also recognise when to stop charging a monthly fee when you exceed your 40 reports. Seems very wrong. I note other people have made the same complaint, and back in May Zoopla responded to a complaint with the following "We have passed your comments onto the team who are responsible for our property experiences. This means that we will look at rewording the subscription offer to ensure it mentions that it is capped at 40 reports." I have revisited the wording in order to write this review, and it does mention 40 properties, but is VERY VERY ambiguous, does not mention the fair usage policy or a cap, so a reader would assume this would be 40 properties per month. How long does it take to update a bit of text on a website?UPDATE 1/8/24: Zoopla did not refund me, despite making an application for a refund following an email form their customer services team. Absolute shambles.

Hi Linda,Thank you for your feedback regarding the Home Check Subscription. We're really sorry you feel this way. We have a fair usage policy of 40 checks/reports per subscription as laid out in our 'Home Check terms and conditions' which every user must accepted pre-purchase. We offer 40 reports overall, not 40 reports a month. The Home Check reports you have already run will only be accessible and visible for the length of time your payment is valid. If you wish to access more reports (more than the 40 you have already run), you will need to start a new subscription under a different email address. After expiry of the Cooling Off Period, you are still able to cancel your Subscription at any time, but will no longer be eligible to receive a full refund. You are paying a subscription to continue to access the checks you have already run.
