After 12 weeks of lies and stress caused by a well known estate agents I switched to Haart. I met Chris at the property who immediately put me at ease. Haart did not disappoint, within a couple of days people were viewing the house and within weeks we had an offer. My main contact was Georgina who was amazing, she was always available and if I left a message she did not fail to call me back. We had a few issues towards completion that we’re out of Haarts control, but Georgina and Chris went above and beyond to complete the sale, they kept me updated at every point. I cannot thank Georgina and Chris enough for their professionalism and friendly manner. I’d also like the thank Katy who worked with me at the beginning who provided weekly updates without fail. I highly recommend and will definitely use Hornchurch Haart in the future.

We would highly recommend Haart of Hornchurch. We ended up having a really complicated sale for reasons outside of ours and Haart’s control. We were selling my mums house due to her going into a care home and Lewis from Haart spoke to my brother on the phone and my brother was instantly impressed. Lewis visited mums house and was very professional, explained everything in detail and was very helpful with any questions we had. The house sold within 2 weeks. Since then we have been updated every step of the way either by phone call or email. Valerie and Seref have been absolutely amazing, helping us when we wasn't sure on how to complete forms, always taking time out of their day to help us with any questions. Always on the end of the phone. They were very sensitive to the fact we were needing to sell to pay for mums care home fees. I would highly recommend anyone to use Haart Hornchurch. You won't get better service. We cannot thank them enough for helping us all the way through this process.

This was not a straightforward transaction owing to problems early on. However, I found the sales team polite and efficient at all times. I have been dealing with Chris Smith on and off since January 2017 and he has been fantastic. My father passed away and I originally met with him in the January 2017 but didn't go ahead with Haart as my fathers neighbour that lived above his maisonette asked for 1st refusal so we agreed a private sale with her. In August after many months of being messed around by the neighbour I went back to Haart and met with Georgina Sparks the assistant branch manager and the property was put back on the market. Georgina was really helpful and professional just like Chris the Branch Manager. The sale become very difficult as the neighbour from upstairs turned very nasty as mine and my brothers relationship with her collapsed through no fault of our own. The woman become obsessed with putting off perspective buyers, she even called up Chris to complain that the description of my fathers property was incorrect and urged them to change it as she had the correct wording in her lease. The sale become even more complicated when she decided to put her place on the market at the same time, she ended up driving down our price as hers was more modern than my fathers place. Every time Chris analysed the local sales figures and area's comparisons and advised on lowering the price to be ahead of her she dropped her price several days later. This caused problems as the buyers were going to view both properties and then comparing the differences and this affected their offers. My fathers place was superior as it had the majority of land as it was the ground floor maisonette with also a 980 year lease. Most perspective buyers favoured our property but it needed money spent on modernising it before it could become habitable, the neighbours was ready to move in. In view of all this Haart found us a buyer relatively quickly and we have jus completed today. The sale was agreed in November but the elderly couple buying it run in to some difficulties with their chain which held up the sale. Chris has been the ultimate professional and along with the assistance of Stephanie Parnell the sales progressor they chased the complete chain and made the transaction happen after much hard work. As our property has been empty it has had to be visited regally to make sure the insurance was valid as stated in the conditions. Chris visited regularly for us to make sure that the lights were on and to operate the heating to stop the pipes from freezing. Today he has also gone above and beyond and made one final trip to take the final meter readings for me. I can't think of any estate agent that would have provided such a brilliant service as Haart have. Chris and his staff deserve huge credit for making this difficult experience a positive one in the end. I would recommend anyone that has a property to sell in Hornchurch to use Haart or anywhere for that matter as they go above and beyond and I can assure you of that from my own experience. We originally chose Haart because of their professional and no pressure approach. Unlike many estate agents we invited to value our property, we didn't feel that they were trying to push us, were very helpful and above all gave us an honest opinion on price and marketing strategy. The housing market was moving quickly, but Tom (Costin) and Ronnie (Rickner) helped guide us and we sold our house to a suitable buyer at a price we were happy with not longer after placing on the market. Our onward purchase proved very tricky however (through no fault of Haart) and the whole house moving experience could have left a very bitter taste in our mouth had it not been for the hard work and dedication of Stephanie (Parnell) our Sales Progressor. Stephanie worked extremely hard to ensure that our sale/purchase went through as quickly and as smoothly as possible despite many obstacles, some of which could have resulted in our chain collapsing. Stephanie kept us informed the entire way through and was available to provide us with sound advice when needed. She certainly had her work cut out but at no point was fazed by the challenge! We finally moved into our new home and couldn’t be happier. Thank you to all of the team at Haart Hornchurch for their hard work.
