Searching for houses has been very stressful , but would definitely recommend Lois Richards at Chalk Street Estates in Hornchurch who not only was very courteous and professional , but extremely helpful too . Hopefully , my search is now over , but if not , I wouldn’t hesitate in using this company again .

The team at chalk street have been brilliant every step of the way. A highly professional setup. Always answer the phone, always polite, quick to respond to any enquires. Have the right contacts too. The photographers they use take the best pictures of your house and present your home brilliantly. Mainly dealt with Lee, Mandy and Linda and couldn’t ask for more from them. Highly recommend these guys at chalk street if you are selling your home.

We all know moving house can be stressful. The team (and they are a team) at Chalk Street really did make everything work as smoothly as possible, and at the most difficult times stepped up to get everyone back on track and help the process get completed. Yes sometimes things take longer than expected, and yes sometimes it can be frustrating when you get a load of viewings and no offers. But in the end we got there and we couldn't have done this without Chalk Street.There is a reason they have so many for sale/sold boards up in the area. They are good at what they do.

GoogleThis company are not professional and VERY RUDE, Looking for my future home and have tried to view 2 properties and they will not even let me view because my house is not on the market "now" property is being valued and decision in principle accepted. I wouldn't recommend selling your property with chalk street estates as they turn down genuine interested buyers !! All other estate agents I have not had any issues with viewing a property.
Hello Jamie, thanks for taking the time to write a google review but given your rating and comments, we feel it's only right that we respond. Unlike 'all other estate agents' who will allow any viewer to visit a property regardless of their position, we work closely with our vendors and it is their choice whether to accept all viewing requests, or only those who are in an immediate position to proceed. In this instance, both properties in question had multiple viewing requests from buyers who had already sold, or were financially qualified, first-time buyers. In this situation, naturally it means the seller is more likely to accept the security of a viewing request from someone in that position, rather than someone whose property is not yet on the market. Given the demand, at this stage, both property owners did not want to accept viewers who were not on the market. This is not uncommon, and it is something your agent should be discussing with you when your home goes on the market. Your property might sell in one day, one week, one month... this is an unknown so you will appreciate 99% of sellers are unwilling to enter into negotiations without a secure chain, as this penalises them when viewing / offering on their onward purchase.

I can highly recommend Chalk Street. We worked with Lee at the start, who comes with years of experience and is completely honest with his thoughts - telling us what we needed to hear. This is very refreshing.Towards the end and to support the process of completion we moved to the care of Mandy. Mandy is quite frankly exceptional at her job. I got regular updates as well as her moving mountains to get this done, over and beyond what she actually needed to do. Both Lee and Mandy were really easy to talk to and make the whole process of selling and buying a property a whole lot smoother.

Recommended by a friend, they did not disappoint. They sold my house within a week and got over the asking price.They took incredible photos, had fantastic communication throughout and generated lots of interest.They drove the sale through within 8 weeks so we could be moved before the school term started.Mandy was our main contact once the sale was agreed and she was instrumental to the quick completion. Their pricing is genuine. This is the best agent I have ever used (and I move more than I care to admit!) and they are the cheapest and provide the best service. Chalk Street are the only agent anyone should be using!

Cannot recommend Chalk Street enough. Although we did not use them for our sale (we so wish we had!), we used them for our purchase. From the very start, they have been communicative, professional and efficient. Booking multiple viewings was a breeze and always confirmed the same day, emails and calls were answered and replied to speedily (thanks Ben!) and they genuinely seemed to care for both their clients as well as their potential buyers. Throughout the transaction we had difficult buyers which delayed our exchange but Mandy went above and beyond contacting our agents and keeping me in the loop of what was going on. I really appreciated her help in particular (she was actually more helpful to us than our own agents!) and so we can see why these smaller companies are doing so well. Finally an agent that is helpful, honest and transparent! I recommend them entirely. Thank you Chalk Street!

Cannot commend Chalk Street Estates enough.Half the price of most other estate agents, none of the hard sell tactics & a realistic valuation, rather than a bargain basement price to shift the property asap.Within 24 hours of the house going up for sale we had 3 serious offers,Within a few days it was sold.From start to finish, Ben and in particular Mandy kept the process on track, chasing solicitors and communicating at every step.A great company, terrific professionalism, thoroughly recommended.

I would recommend Chalk Street to anyone looking to sell their house in a heart beat. Daniel and his team were far superior than our previous estate agents. From sending a professional photographer, speedily replies to emails or phone calls, honesty from the start and did everything they could to get us the price we wanted for our house and get the move moving swiftly due to a time constraint that we had. Chalk Street sold my house in November 2017. They are no better, no worse than standard high street estate agents. This is not damning with faint praise, they did a proper, professional job, just like the other two high street estate agents I've used in the past few years.The significant difference is the fee: £1,650 upfront, non-returnable for accompanied viewing instead of around £4,000. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to go elsewhere. Even if you pay the extra £1,000 fee for the "no sale, no fee" option, you'll still save a decent chunk of money over regular estate agents.

We dealt with Ben during negotiations and with Mandy post-offer acceptance and we were super impressed with their level of professionalism and the speed at which they responded to our calls and queries. We had issues with our solicitors being very slow and unproductive and Mandy was constantly on the phone chasing them right through to completion. I am so grateful to the team for their wonderful support throughout this entire process!
