When / if things go wrong, as they inevitably do when you buy and sell houses Team Belong did their upmost to get everything back on track. If you want to use a small independent agency in the Holme Valley then give them a try!

Great 1st Class service from start to finish! It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with James and the team at Belong. I found them to be extremely professional, easy to deal with and very reliable when it came to selling my home. James was a great help right from the offset, he is like an encyclopedia when it comes to advice on selling a house and was always at hand with help and guidance for anything I wasn't sure about. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. All I had to do was hand them the keys and they did everything else, Plans, EPC, Photos, Video footage with a drone, Impressive "For Sale" signs (with a full colour image of the house!) and they even dealt with the solicitors. 'Belong' took away all the usual stresses of selling a house and made the whole experience quite pleasant. Highly Recommended!

Belong have recently handled the marketing and sale of our late parents property which required considerable modernisation. James valued the property based on it's potential when modernised reflecting its position and location, giving a higher asking price than we had anticipated. We immediately began to receive offers at or close to the asking price. After a very short time we were able to accept an offer slightly over the asking price from a buyer in a good position to proceed quickly. At all times were kept well informed, with Belong liasing with both buyer and seller to facilitate the conveyancing. They were both professional and pleasant to deal with throughout. We would recommend them very highly to anyone looking to sell a property at a price reflecting its true worth. 5 stars well deserved.

We first met James from Belong Estate Agents Honley Huddersfield when he came to value our property in October 2025. He was professional, honest, friendly and trustworthy. As was Daniel and Helen when we met and spoke to them. They helped us during a stressful time through everything. Nothing was too much trouble. They kept us informed and updated. They were all hardworking and professional as were other members of staff we communicated with at Belong Estate Agents. We recently sold our house with Belong and would not hesitate to recomend them. The service from start to finish was superb, all of the staff are helpful and friendly. The virtual tour they produced was excellent and we have no doubt this assisted greatly in peoples decision to view and to refresh their memories afterwards, we certainly wished there had been one for the property we purchased. Belong undertook all of the viewings and this helped to provide more opportunity for viewings during the week and made that part of the process really easy. We were given objective feedback after each one. We felt thoroughly supported during the conveyancing process, especially at those stressful moments, there was always someone there trying to help. After spending some time marketing…Don’t hesitate, sign up with outstanding estate agent in the Holme Valley.

After spending some time marketing through what many would consider to be the leading estate agent in the area we decided to walk away after a serious disagreement with the head of the business on the best way to get results. In short I was disappointed in their rudimentary sales skills. What do we pay estate agents for? What a difference James made at Belong. He grasped the fundamentals, showed real creativity in marketing the property and very quickly generated interest. But it’s not just sales and marketing, crucial that they are. James managed the whole process with great skill, serving both the seller and the buyer through the exchange process with a difficult chain right the way to completion. Even after completion there was a hiccup with keys and a damaged lock that he personally engaged a local locksmith to resolve prior to the buyers arriving at the property. A thoroughly professional performance from beginning to end and he and his business Belong are to be recommended. Thanks James.

I purchased a property which was marketed by Belong, By James White, which completed last month. James & Katie were very helpful throughout and very quick to respond, even acknowledging the receipt of documents at 7am on a Sunday morning! As with most property purchases, there were issues regarding the legal process and they helped me overcome any issues we had, to ensure the (very tight) deadline we had was met.Overall, I believe Belong, By James White is a far superior estate agent compared to many others locally. Very professional and helpful to both the sellers and purchasers of property, ensuring that the transaction runs as smoothly as possible.Although I did not need to sell my property, I will definately use this estate agents in the future, and have already recommended them to various contacts!

Our brilliant experience of Belong by James White

We thought we would try Belong by James White to sell one of our houses as we had noticed his for sale boards popping up here and there and decided why not try a new company instead of all the big estate agents. After looking at his website and seeing how he promotes and advertises property's we were impressed and gave the office a call. We managed to get a prompt visit for a valuation which was good and we were more than happy with his fees so decided to go ahead. What can I say, it was the best desision we could of made. James is brilliant, he's very professional and offers a personal service. He came out and did the pictures and within a hour or so the house was on the market. Within a couple of days we had 5 offers, within less than a week the house was sold subject to contract. I cannot recommend Belong by James White highly enough. So much so we have just instructed him to sell our main home. And again within 3 hours of him doing the pictures it's advertised online ready for the weekend. Amazing service all around!
