Despite the problems there have been this year with Covid - 19. Applegate Properties marketed and sold our property, quickly and with professionalism. We turned to Applegate Properties after to having no look with a national chain of estate agents. They started marketing a property a week before the first lockdown in March. This could have been a major setback, it wasn’t. Applegate Properties proactively produced a virtual tour of the property in the first week of lockdown, the first estate agent I had seen do this. So, when restrictions were lifted, they already had a list of interested clients who had seen the property. The sales agents were very pleasant to deal with, professional and very proactive throughout the sales process. I can’t thank Tayla, Paul and everybody else enough.PositiveProfessionalism

I cannot speak too highly of Applegates. Magnificent service from valuation to completion, which only took 8 weeks. Paul was supremely professional, valuing the property and photographing it with real skill; Amy, the owner, took a keen interest in making the sale happen; and Tayla was an absolute star, keeping me informed and reassured during the inevitable anxiety of a house sale. Such nice people to deal with - but, above all, they work really hard to make the sale happen.

Claire and her colleagues where great throughtout our selling and buying process. We got a buyer quickly but it then turned out to be quite a protracted and stressful process due to issues on our side that were out of everyone's control. What can I say, Amy Wray BRILLIANT, the Applegate team EXCELLENT. Never mind going the extra mile Amy and her team went much further to ensure problems were resolved quickly and efficiently. When we were told we were being gazumped Amy spring into action with a promise to get us the property and she did. Before employing Applegates I asked several business people in Holmfirth what they knew about the different estate agents and Amy /Applegates, although relatively new on the scene, got comments like "ruthless" and "gets the job done". You pay for what you get in this world and I can tell you Applesgate fee, though not the cheapest, is excellent value for money and that is coming from someone who has bought and sold properties in the past. Applegates has been a great local estate agent with the selling of our property. After being on the market with another agent we were loosing hope that the property would sell. The staff at Applegates talked us through the selling options giving us advise on what price it should be marketed at to realistically sell it. We received an offer very quickly which was negotiated with the buyer to achieve the price we were happy with. We received regular updates on how the sale was progressing and no questions were too much bother for them to answer. Would highly recommend them to sell or rent your property

When it came to selling my house it has been an emotional journey, made so much better by everyone at Applegate Properties. My Mum had the house built and we moved in in 1969. Despite living in different places in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, this house was always home to me. I started the selling journey after my Mum died, with an online estate agent, which obviously did not result in a house sale. When I rang up about things, I never spoke to the same person twice and the whole process was extremely frustrating. When the contract ended, I had decided to go with an local Estate Agent, I did a Web search and found Applegate Properties and I am so glad I did. The experience has been like chalk and cheese compared to the online agents. The entire process has been clearly explained to me by Claire, Haley or Amy.When I have rung up for anything. They have taken the time to explain and listen. Selling my house has been a difficult and emotional time but I know that it would have been much worse without everyone at Applegate Properties.
