As a first-time buyer, I was fully expecting the process of buying my (dream) flat to be incredibly stressful...how wrong I was! All thanks to The Stow Brothers, and especially my agent Eva Bouzaki, who proved me wrong. I can’t recommend her enough. There’s a real art to breaking down a complex process in a way that makes sense when you’re doing it for the first time, and Eva does that effortlessly. She's always one step ahead, never letting anything drift, like a superhuman. Almost like having a good friend by your side who has your best interests in mind. Also, being an all-round fantastic (and hilarious) person makes more of a difference than you’d think in this daunting process, trust me. She clearly jobs her love, people!

Overall really enjoyed our experience with the Stow brothers from start to finish. We had Ellie Smith as our property manager and from the start she was very prompt and proactive in assisting us with any issues we had. The beginning of our tenancy was smooth and well communicated, during our tenancy raising issues was easy and they were addressed very quickly. At the end of our tenancy Ellie helped to facilitate an early end to our lease with our landlord (moving due to professional reasons) and she helped make the process of ending our tenancy equally smooth. We are sad to be leaving the stow brothers as our estate agents and will miss having Ellie look after us.

Overall, we had a very positive experience. From start to finish, the process was handled professionally and efficiently, In particular, Ryan G. and Sotiria C. were outstanding. Ryan didn’t stop responding promptly to all out concerne and helped us sorting out an electric and gas problem. They were both very helpful, responsive, and professional. Sotiria also took the time to answer our questions details. They made the whole process smooth. Their customer service really stood out. Their valuation was honest and not pushy at all, the attention to detail (telling us how to best present the property for pictures) was excellent and they regularly followed up on the sale and did their best to push us through to completion. I was shown a property by Holly, she supported me throughout the process with the referencing and application. It was a smooth and simple process which is many times very daunting. She kept me up to date in progress and was extremely accommodating with regards to key handover and other requests. This was a pleasant experience and I am thankful for the support I received from Holly throughout the whole process from the day I had requested a viewing to even after I had moved in!

From the first point of contact to the completion of our sale the service was outstanding. The gentleman who came to value our property was polite & respectful of our home, as was the photographer who took the photos. I feel a special shout out must go to a young lady called Jessica I feel she went over and above, she kept us well informed about the sale, called us weekly to update us and more frequently as we neared completion, offered a listening ear when things were not going so well with our purchase & generally made us feel that nothing was too much bother, she is defintely as asset to the company.

Absolute stars, and masters of the quality end of the Lobdon market. Helped us with the best strategy and estimate for achieving what was a very against the trend superb price for our property. Also lovely people. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Qe chose them after talking with six agents, and not based on lowest cost. Excellent agent.

They purposefully way undervalue properties to generate interest and then expect tenants to bid way over the asking price just to secure the property. We viewed a property recently valued at £1695 pcm that went for £2000 pcm. It was clearly worth more than the amount marketed and yet Stow Brothers decided to be be greedy and undervalue the property in order to force potential tenants to over offer. The agent viewing one property got the key jammed in the door meaning half of prospective viewers (for the one and only available viewing day) could not see the property. Stow Brothers promised to rearrange viewings to those who were unable to see the property but ended up taking an offer of 2kpcm from one of the lucky few to view it! They claim they do not prefer tenants who offer more for the property but this is blatantly untrue. Do not be fooled by the glossy website and photos, many of the properties are not what you would expect. Viewings were purposefully arranged to cram in as many prospective tenants as possible as to create a false sense of demand and panic amongst bidders. Impossible to contact them directly, only being referred to fill in their online forms which inevitably are rarely replied to. Correspondence with tenants is slow after making offers, we were told 'the landlord is away on holiday or is considering his options etc.' when we were told to make final bids 3 days ago. Properties up for sale and let at the same time (BEWARE). This was not communicated to us at the time and was only something we found out later by googling the property.
