Renting a place can be so stressful, and it seems to be getting harder and harder. I’m glad to say Holly at Stow Brothers made finding a place and getting a contract so easy and stress free I couldn’t believe it. No going round in circles, no sales tactics, just honest advice and a really good attitude.

My partner and I are currently house/flat hunting and our engagement with Stow Brothers throughout has been really helpful. Their online platform is easy to navigate and they have been quick to respond so far on queries/developments on the ongoing process. A big shout out to Alysha from the Walthamstow branch for her quick and diligent work throughout our ongoing process! Hopefully we can eventually find our desired flat but Stow Brothers have so far offered a really high quality service that I would recommmend to fellow house/flat hunters!

I have been renting from Stow Brothers for almost 3 years and my experience with them have been very pleasant. As a tenant your expectations of an Estate Agents would be limited but my experience has been one of the greatest with the support given on property related issues from the beginning of my tenancy to subsequently throughout the period where I had to vacate the property due to landlord's own circumstances where a notice was served, Stow Brothers truly suppported me on a very fair, honest and friendly manner. I, as a tenant did my best and I can say from the bottom of my heart that of the staff members working at their Walthamstow office, Catherine before, and more recently Hanna have been brilliant. The supoort, assistance and the professionalism displayed by Hanna is second to none. Prior to renting with Stow Brothers, I have never been a tenant and I am glad that I chose Stow Brothers and even in the most challenging and difficult of situations I had been in, this agency amd more importantly the brilliant people like Hanna have shown the true professionalism, care and competency in their jobs. Hanna in particular and the colleagues I have dealt with before such as Catherine have been true assets to the company. Finally, I do want to say that I have also been lucky to have a good landlord, an understanding, responsible and courteous individual. I thank them for all their support and working closely with Stow Brothers to resolve property related issues throughout my stay and for the supoort they provided throughout the Section 21 non-fault notice period. Wish you, Hanna and your firm, Stow Brothers all the best for 2024 and beyond and thanks a million times for your support and assistance.

GoogleGreat service from beginning to end: arranged a viewing at the most convenient time, the agent (Freddie!) was extremely knowledgeable and spent an hour with us in the property, answering all sorts of questions we had. We also appreciated the communication from the branch manager Jon and the experience of the sales progressor Paul, especially keeping us updated on any tasks and passing on any information and requests to the seller and their solicitors. Very quick responses to questions, great guidance on the order of steps and on-going check ins throughout.

GoogleI had the best experience buying with the Stow Brothers. I had a number of viewings with them and eventually found my property with the Highams Park branch. I mostly dealt with Lachlan who was extremely helpful and proactive with pushing my sale forwards, getting updates from both sides and answering lots of questions. The viewings and encounters I had with other members of the team were also pleasant. I highly recommend!

TrustpilotI would never sell my property with The Stow Bros based solely on how they treat the Buyers.
Like so many reviewers have commented the method of viewing a property is the same tactic 15min slots, over-booked, no time to look at a property before another party arrives. Then on Monday they take offers and come back asking for BEST and FINALS, which is an awful tactic to induce panic and pressure.But as buyers you don’t get a choice which Agent you buy the property from.I would never sell my property with The Stow Bros based solely on how they treat the Buyers.Josh a sales handler kept himself so involved to the point of overstepping. In the beginning, he emailed me 34 times in the first month, I had to ask him to stop emailing me for my mental health and I asked him to instead email my husband anything that was needed. Josh ignored my request and continued to email me. He refused to let my husband view the property a 2nd time. He jumped over the vendor's solicitors a number of times. Our Solicitor even commented, “My first thought is why is this coming from the estate agent?” We were spending ¾ of a million on a property we would view it as many times as we liked. Stow Brows were rude and disrespectful and the process of buying a property is stressful and still Josh emailed me.He gets under a person’s ether, just like the hustler or scammer he is. He whispered to the Vendors and nearly caused the whole chain to fail a couple of times.I know the agents work for the Vendors but if the vendor knew how we were treated and how close we came to walking away solely on the ‘agents service’ I doubt they would be impressed.Writing at month 3 they refused to take down the advertisement for the property we were buying, and refused a 2nd and 3rd viewing. They said ‘No, its not in our interest to it sell a 2nd time’. 1 week away from completing we were GAZUMPED. Stow Bros are awful and now even if they have the best property for £1 I still would not use them. Stow Brows plagued us for paperwork and yet our solicitor was still waiting for things from the Seller's side, one form which could have been filled out by the freeholder BEFORE the property even went on the market. Why did the agents not let their vendor's solicitors do their job? We felt badgered.Only because we loved that property, not that we can remember it having only seen it once 3 months ago, were we still willing to put up with the Stow Bros. Turns out we lost the house anyway.Buyer beware, Sellers be very aware, you could be losing sales.
