We recently completed on a sale of our property whith forest acting as the Estate agents. Martin and Kirsty were fantastic all the way through from start to completion, always keeping us fully advised of progress and working very hard to meet all requirements. We will in future always go back to forest as they are very professional company and extremely nice to do business with.

I decided to contact Forest Estate Agents as I’d seen numerous sold boards around the Hanworth area. Kirsty was fantastic and communication excellent. Forest sold the house in 2 weeks and followed every detail through to the sale completion! I can’t recommend them highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future

I had a very disappointing experience with Forest Estate Agents, specifically with Kirsty. I made an offer on a property back in October, and my offer was even above the asking price. Despite this, the property is still on the market, which makes me feel that my offer was not communicated to the seller. Kirsty’s handling of the situation has been extremely frustrating and raises serious concerns about the transparency and professionalism of the agency. As a potential buyer, it’s disheartening to think that offers might not be properly passed on to the seller. This kind of behavior not only wastes the buyer’s time but also does a disservice to the seller, who may not even be aware of genuine offers. If you’re considering selling your property, I would strongly advise against using Forest Estate Agents. There are many other agents who are more transparent, professional, and committed to getting your property sold in a timely manner. Be cautious and look for an agent who will represent your interests properly.

We take pride in being completely transparent in all our actions, naturally, this approach can sometimes upset some purchasers, and this is the first that I have heard of your complaint, as nobody has approached me, which is a surprise as the Director of Forest. I take every complaint very seriously, so it would be very helpful to hear your story, I await your earliest response, so that I can assess the situation fully. All offers, below or above the asking price, are conveyed to the seller, otherwise, we run the risk of being sued for the difference, as I am sure you can acknowledge, it is highly unlikely that any agent would risk that! It is our policy to continue to keep a property on the market until a survey has been booked, as many buyers make offers that they have no intention of proceeding with, I am not suggesting that you would be one such buyer, and that is precisely the reason that I want to eliminate you from that section of the buying public, I look forward to hearing from you asap Martin Ludeman Director Hi Kumar, I have spoken to Kirsty regarding your complaint, the property is question was Hamlyn House. The situation was very clearly outlined to you on more than one occasion, the seller would not accept an offer from any buyer, unless they were prepared to put down a non returnable deposit, which you advised us, that you were not prepared to do. You will notice that the flat still remains available. I have had the worst time dealing with this so called Estate Agency. Not once have they bothered to keep in touch or address any issues I've had and put to them . Dreadfully laid back attitude by Kirsty . I would never use this Estate Agency again or would I recommend it to anyone wanting to sell there property. I have to put 1 star as there's no option for none to be added don't be fooled.

Hi Tracey, I am very sorry that you felt you had to leave Forest a bad review, we have been trying to sell the flat since April 2023, so I can quite understand your frustration, especially when we have sold others in the block within that timescale, it is difficult to explain why they have been preferred to yours, as all the buyers looked at all the flats. We did take new photos at your request, but I understand that you did not like those, and we have been in touch with Doug regularly before we were aware of your involvement. I am sorry that you felt Kirsty was laid back, I can understand why you would want to change agents after such a long period, and I think Kirsty understood as well, I hope that you can find a buyer for your retirement home in the future, they are a niche market, and the 3 that we have found buyers for over the last year, were very happy with our service, I am sorry that we could not find a buyer for yours, especially as the property was initially purchased from us in 2021, again emphasizing our success with this type of property, good luck for the future

After having a bad experience with a tenant, Hope managed to resolve all my worries. Hope was a complete professional and has saved me so much time and money going forward. I genuinely couldn’t have done without her support. I’ve had dealings with a number of Lettings agency’s In the last few years, but I have to say Hope is second to non. Hope is considerate and easy to talk to and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. I would recommend Forest and especially Hope to any potential Landlord. Was recommened to Forest and as soon as we walked into the office it was obvious it was the right place to be. Duncan was extremely helpful, taking responsibility for viewings of the flat as circumstances meant we were not able to be in the flat during viewings. If Duncan wasn't around everyone else was able to assist whatever queries we had in the same friendly manner. Would have no hesiation in usig Forest agan in the future

I put an offer in with these people for a house above asking price, and I was told it was turned down with no best and final bids and no rejection letter. When I chased up to see if my offer had been accepted they hung up the phone on me for no good reason. When I asked why my bud was turned down even though it was the highest bud and my chain is in a good position to proceed, they said they didn’t want to sell to a HMO. I was not a HMO! The agent has obviously miss represented me and told the seller i am a HMO without even checking with my own estate agent my chain position, which is strange! They didn’t take down my email address or any other information when registering to put a bid in for the property. It feels as though they have a vested interest to keep the price down. I wonder if the owner of the property are aware. Don’t sell your house with forest. They are obviously selling houses to their mates on the cheap

I have interviewed the staff in my office regarding your comments, and also spoken to the seller of the house to ensure that the correct procedures were followed. It would appear that the seller had already accepted an offer for the property, and despite our advice, did not want to consider alternative offers, we have also received a higher offer, considerably more than yours, which as we are obliged to do, will also be forwarded to our client for their consideration. Not all properties are sold on the basis that the highest bidder will be accepted, the seller makes that decision, we carry out those instructions. I fully understand that you are upset that you have not secured the house that you wanted, but it had nothing to do with your situation, and we were aware that you were not an HMO, I think you have misunderstood that conversation, this is purely a decision that was made by the sellers. a Your suggestion that it was sold to a friend of Forest, is Libel, an accusation that which we take very seriously, we have been established since 1986, and have a hard earned reputation for honesty in Feltham, it is all too easy to make false statements, and yours are completely unfounded. All offers are submitted to our clients, and if you want to make another offer, that would also be forwarded, and we would respond to you once more. I notice that Duncan did give you an e-mail response to your offer, and having spoken to all members of staff, nobody hung up on you, can you please tell me who you were speaking to when this occurred. Very unprofessional service from Forest...They polite to you till u signed off the contract...they have my property for 3 months agreed sale last day with the client wich is a bit suspicious but everything looks sweet that time...And after nearly 2 months I got a message from forest state: client don't have a funds to buy your property no more🤣welldone forest 👌I definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Hi Dariusz, Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that you feel let down, as you will recall, we did indeed have an offer for you in the early days of marketing, which you rejected, although you accepted a very similar figure months later. The cash buyer withdrew from approx 20 sales through other agents locally, which i can provide evidence of, but I can understand your frustration, if not your suspicion. I am very sorry that we could not complete a sale on your flat, we tried very hard, and I sincerely hope that you secure a sale, at a price that you are happy with, as soon as possible, if not, I would welcome the opportunity to improve your rating of Forest.
