Giving one star as trying to buy a property is so hard with this agency, they put the house on for asking price let’s say 170.000 and even if u offer around 5,000 more, your offer will get rejected. Offered on a couple of houses with good offers according to the property and property area and still got rejected as if they just don’t want to sell a property to us, will be looking at other agencies then wasting time on this one.

Not a great experience. Falsified feedback from a viewing that did not happen: I was asked to show viewer around as R&D not available. However, viewer did not show up. R&D provided me with feedback for a visit which clearly did not take place.At another viewing, R&D arranged accompanied viewing. The agent had not been to my property before, was not familiar with the property and went to the wrong property at the appointment time. Luckily, I was still in the local area and was able to return to the house to show the viewers around. After several frantic phone calls, R&D eventually showed up just as the viewers were leaving.These viewers went on to purchase the property. Had I not been nearby to show them around, I could have potentially lost the sale.On the whole, a very stressful process.

I bought my house in Heywood through Ryder and Dutton nearly 34 years ago and when the time came to sell opted to go with them again. From the initial contact for valuation to the final exchange, everyone I had contact with was professional and helpful. The solicitor suggested by them was also excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and I was totally convinced that they were completely invested in marketing and selling my property. They were not the cheapest option I looked at but you get what you pay for, I would highly recommend them. Senior sales negotiator, at the Heywood branch, Catherine Salisbury, did a great job. We found a home we wanted to purchase by accident and as such needed to move quickly and get ours on sale. We chose Ryder and Dutton and within a couple of days we met with Leanne for our valuation and we were on the market at a price we were very happy with. The valuation process itself was very informative and in no way pressured or rushed. We were on the market within days and the photos and marketing were really good! Once on the market we were under the care of Martha who understanding our needs, quickly got us plenty viewings and an offer within 2 1/2 weeks FOR FULL ASKING price. The service has been incredibly informative and helpful and the communication has been fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone selling their house!

Shocking service. Only got updates after I chased them. Elki from when she started to sell my house until she passed it over to Lindsey was an absolute waste of time, Lindsey not much better. There mortgage advisor nearly lost me my sale as he put my buyer with a very bad mortgage company who also have a shocking reputation. Service from Chaderton branch is not worth what they ate asking. Thought the manager Lewis didn't have the experience to manage his team. Would never use them again. On a good note Janet from Bacup branch was fantastic pity she left.
