I was supposed to view a property at…Avoid Move Residential

I was supposed to view a property at 11:30 today. I arrived early at 11:20 and waited 20 minutes but nobody arrived from Move Residential. Not only was this very frustrating having taken the morning off work but they then had the audacity to say that they were there when I telephoned them and waited 10 mins before leaving which is an outright lie. I would never use this agent if I was selling a property. Wholly incompetent

Overall a positive experience

+ Market to offer agreed within 16 days.+ Sales progression team moved the process along.- Difficult to contact via phone.I marketed the house with MR after being on the market elsewhere for 10 months. Very enthusiastic team of valuers and sales, which resulted in an offer within 16 days.The sales progression team were very helpful in moving the process along and were quick to answer all enquiries.Overall a good experience and obviously pleased to have sold within a short period of time.

Highly Recommended

After 2 sales fell through I changed agent to Move Residential in the autumn of last year. Although very cynical at the time I had a buyer within a couple of weeks at above the asking price. We complete on the sale today The staff have been very proactive and the whole experience a world away from the previous agent. I would recommend Move Residential for anyone looking to sell their property on the Wirral.

Absolute Joke

Absolute JokeThe customer service with Move Residential is appalling. They seem to find it amusing that customers have to constantly ring them to get anything done. All I needed was a confirmation email stating that we wanted to evacuate the premises (well within the terms of our agreement and with over 6 weeks notice) which they seemed to find impossible to do. I've had to ring on a daily basis and I am beyond frustrated.

Poor solicitor recommendation

We had no problem finding a buyer for our house and were well supported by sales progression at Move Residential, but the solicitors MR put us in touch with proved to be inefficient and often bad communicators. It turned out that MR didn't actually rate them either. I'd recommend anyone buying or selling through MR to do their own research when it comes to getting a quote from a solicitor and making a commitment.

The sales agent, Alex, at the Allerton Rd office, even worked over office hours on a Friday, liaising with myself and the vendors to agree on an offer. I would highly recommend Move Residential to sell your house for you. From start to finish the service was amazing! Alec gave us a great valuation to work with and lots of helpful advice. He also provided us with an amazing listing on Rightmove. Liam looked after most of our viewings and was a pleasure to deal with and Jenny our sales progressor was one of the most helpful and down to earth people you could ever hope to deal with. My experience was not positive in any…

My experience was not positive in any way. After an initial viewing in November 22, the potential buyer stated that they were looking to downsize to a house with a large kitchen. The house I was selling had a very small kitchen. The viewing was a total waste of everyone’s time albeit it only lasted 5 minutes! For the next 7 months I did not hear one single word from Move Residential on Allerton Road. I was told the house was on “premium listing” whatever that meant. However the marketing material that they distributed in the area, through the door of my son’s home who lives nearby, did not feature the house I was selling! I’d hate to know what the non “premium” service entailed. When they eventually got in touch, seven months later to say they had a second viewing I asked David where they had been for 7 months? He said he’d “look into it” - I told him I wished to take the property off the market with them as I felt they were not doing their job particularly well to say the least. David did not disagree to be fair but he stopped answering his mobile. ( 4 unanswered call despite voice Mail being left) I was only calling to ask why the house was still on their website and to chase them up about getting the sign removed! The new agent costs less, has arranged 2 viewings already and answers the phone! I cannot recommend any aspect of my experience as a seller with Move Residential on Allerton Road.
