GoogleDefinitely recommend! A professional and friendly team that guided me renting out my house for the first time. When it was time to sell, I was happy to choose them again. Also, it helped, throughout, that I could drop into their office if I had a query. Although, they will keep you regularly updated by phone/email. Googleour first outing at requiring the services of an estate agent, having lived in same house for over 30 years. This became a painless and pleasant encounter with the help of Adam Woolfenden. No questions too stupid to ask, no badgering or hurrying us along. When we needed second viewing on same day, he happily popped back and even had more property keys if we were still looking, this after he had basically finished for the day. Can't say a thing negative about Wards and certainly not about Adam. Friendly, always cheerful, always happy to help and most importantly knowing when to give us room for our own thoughts and ideas to percolate. GoogleIf you are a renter with pets and looking for a rental property through Wards my advice is don’t bother as you are penalised for having pets when they choose an applicant for a property. After attending a viewing, meeting the affordability checks, having outstanding references and offering more for the property than anyone other applicant we still got turned down! 👎
We do understand that you must have been very disappointed not to secure the property you wanted however the Landlord’s decision had nothing to do with you owning a pet. We are pleased to note that the situation was fully explained by the branch staff. Please be assured that we will do everything possible to help you to find an alternative property. GoogleI’ve worked with most of the estate agents in Herne Bay and Whitstable - from viewings to sale and progression they are hands down, the best. You measure a company by what they do when things go wrong - I had solicitor trouble with an historical mistake on a lease which meant a 3 year delay on my ability to sell. Not Wards fault. At my original sale, they were genuinely sympathetic - I even asked for life advice from a manager when I was forced to withdraw from selling😂 When the lease was finally sorted I returned to Wards and they looked after everything, the progression contact was particularly excellent. Hugely recommended, don’t fall for the gumpf and flannel you get from most of our Estate agents, I think Wards are actual authentic human beings!!
